Not heard a single thing about the man from Fish Creek in a long time, guessing he just went to ground and returned to the real world. Would be kinda sad if he has a few sons that are guns as he only played 99 games for us.
Oh oh - "Bruce Reid" alarm bells going off in my head. I have posted before (and got zero support!) that we should not leave a player on 99 games if there is a meaningless game at the end of his final season. You never know.
On Ian Dunstan (Mocca was his nick name if i recall correctly). Very good player who accumulated huge possessions through an abilty to run. Didn't have the kicking skills of todays elite players but more than made up for it through work rate. I can still remember some long straight goals from set shots on the hff. I think there was a falling out with the club at the end (not sure why it seemed to happen a lot with our better players in those days) Hopefully i rmember it right.
