That would be fair if we weren't staring down the barrel of another year of missing the finals on the last game of the season for what will be the 8th time. I would be happier if we were siting dead last. At least I would have the draft to look forward to.

I wouldn't say pathetic. I would say a a different perspective for a different outcome. Missing out on the finals is so last year. Give me a draft pick to look forward to. It's been a long time since 2001.

I'd like to hope that we are premiership-driven, but honestly, there are days I do wonder.

In the last 9 days, I have had the fortune to see the following

South Melbourne Men win the Dockerty Cup
South Melbourne Women win the Nike Cup
Knox Raiders Women win the NBL1 South Conference

In 31 years as a Freo supporter/5-year member - nothing, nada, zilch

Yes, only one team can win a premiership every year, but are we even close to that?

It brings up the age-old question: is it better to just win OR to lose while entertaining?
