The gap between top 5 picks

How would you rate the gap between the following:

Scully and Trengove and Martin and Cunnington and Other?

Would the gap between the above be massive or insignificant?

Personally I don't think theres much between them. I guess the rest will depend on the development infrastructure on the club they go to.

I don't think the gap between the top 5 is that big at all. A couple may turn out to be superstars and the others at worst will probably be good solid players. I think the real gap is the top 5 compared to the rest (pick #6 onwards).

Massive gap between the top 3 in my view- Scull, Trengove, Martin are the 3 standouts. However you will still get plenty of solid players right up until the end of the 2nd round.

You guess wrong. The "development infrastructure on the club" has very little effect on the best of the best talent regardless of how much BF posters like to go on about it.

If Joel Selwood were drafted by any club he would have excelled.

Well of course we're going to defend our own if you make a silly comment like that. I agree with you that development has held by some of our players back but Trent Cotchin? He's been held back by injuries and nothing more. When he's actually managed to get on the field he's been great.
