Just got back from a horribly boring three hours in a freezing cold room.

As part of a big **** off to the length of the GAT, I, along with thousands of others mentioned George Clooney in my essays.

The Age has picked up on this as well.

So if you mentioned George Clooney, in what context did you slip his name in?

If you've done the GAT before, have you got any good quotes you slipped into your essay?

My younger brother did the GAT (as he does 3/4) and he said he wrote 'George Clooney has honey on his cereal in the morning' or something to that degree.

It originated from 4chan he believes.

I heard about it through Facebook.

I put "Honey is also famous for being George Clooney's favourite spread, preferred to strawberry jam on his toast in the morning".

I also dropped his name a couple of times in the persuasive essay.

Tried to say that George Clooney loves his honey and his bee sayings.

I said something about George Clooney often using sayings such as "as busy as a bee" and also about how people are desperate for material possessions such as a new iPhone, or a portable DVD so they can watch Ocean's Thirteen during a boring car ride.

One I saw on facebook was "There's one thing George Clooney can't do, and that's make honey - let's leave that to the bees". ****ing lol.

F*** the GAT is boring. At least this year ours took place in a heated room, rather than the gym, where the temperatures are similar to the Arctic Circle.

I, along with many others I know, took part in Operation: George Clooney, which did indeed originate on /b/. I slipped his name into my 2 essays 4 times. It was easy for the material wealth shit, but I had to get pretty creative in the essay about bees, was challenging.

Also, many lulz were had when a mate got a text and his ringtone (Taylor Swift - Love Story) started blaring, which led to a sing-a-long.....lol.

From my knowledge of my days in VCE, this is completely wrong. However, vice versa is true.

I believe Monash also looks at students GAT scores. Well that's what my careers teacher told me.

My school didn't let anyone leave early. So everyone was sitting there for half an hour longer than they neded to be pretty much.
