I see that the Timberwolves are making another push for Gary Payton. Certainly would make them more threatening. How is this allowed to happen though? It`s mid Feb and they`re still allowed to trade blows me away. Is this right and what do ya think?

Troy Hudson is ok. He can shoot, but he won't win you a Championship. The transfer deadline is still open, which I reckon is a good idea in basketball as it allows deadweight or expendable players to move midseason - positives for both teams involved in deals at times.

The question is : Who the hell can the Sonics get from the Wolves? They don't need Wally, and Garnett sure as hell ain't moving 1 inch (bar in the air, on a court)

The trade deadline is the 20th of February. Expect alot of showcasing from now till then.

Seattle wouldnt be interested in anything from Minnesotta, so I guess a 3rd team that wants to take Terrell Brandons contract (insurance company or something will be paying his salary so its good to have) would have to be involved.

Another rumour that is hot is Keith Van Horn for Latrell Sprewell or Glenn Robinson, speculation is that a deal could be made in the next day or 2?

Couldnt see Iverson meshing at all well with either Spree or the Big Dog. A third team would have to be involved if GP expects to get to Minnesota. But if it somehow happens. The T-Wolves would be a real threat come playoff time.

Would love to see Payton playing with KG, but can't see it happening unless the Sonics are willing to take 'Weak Arse Wally World' and his BIG contract.

As for the Van Horn thing. The only way Philly should trade him is if they get a centre in return.
