We are rebuilding, and it takes a bit of nerve to admit it but also, sorrowful and all, I know it's in the best interests of the Club. We are looking 3 to 4 years before Collingwood could win its 15th premiership. At least Malthouse is guiding us on the right pathways for success.

Didak, Fraser, Johnson, Swan, T. Cloke, The Shaws, O'Brien, Rusling, Egan, Thomas and Pendlebury, to name a dozen, will be around when we win the flag, our 15th in the AFL.

2008 Retiree List: Simon Prestigiacomo, Paul Licuria and Tarkyn Lockyer
2009 Retiree List: James Clement and Anthony Rocca

Hypothetically speaking, there are a lot of great servants in there. It will be sad to see Bucks hang up the boots, and Burnsy, and Presti, and so fourth.

Hi Fellow collingwood supporters i have just registerted on this site.I agree that yes we are at rebuilding stage and it does look like we are rebuilding again.What a shame 2002 and 2003 didn't work out for us.I mainly feel sorry for players like Bucks,licca,and burns who have tryed their guts out over the years and we couldn't win the big one for them.Especially bucks the champ,Then only thing he hasn't won is a Premiership,he has achieved everything else.I am going to stick my neck out here and say he is probably the most complete football player that i have ever seen play for collingwood a true living legend.I would love to say that he may coach us to one one day,but in a lot of instances generally speaking not all great players (aside from lethal) make good coaches....only time will tell..Can we we do the miraculous and challenge for a flag in 2007?OK we lost tazz but our forward structure could still be quite effective next year ,even if we recruite well ,our new young guns will take time to develop.The most disheartening thing that happened when tazz was traded was that he wants to play in a premiership.Well if he kicked straight in 2002 we would have won that flag..........................................THE DRUNK.

Sad? Man that week will be a week of mourning, reminicising and many many many tears! It will be more than sad!

Been rebuilding for a while now, however it has come to the stage where the servants will be going in the next 3 years as mentioned. A flag hopefully will fall soon for those guys!
