I have waited 3 weeks and still no inclusion.

I cannot roll with Cornes Bowden and Priddis on the sidelines. (over $1 Million)

Goddard is who i swapped Bowden out for.
Goddard is a consistent 80ish point which means alot for the backline.
I can see his scores improving as the season goes on aswell.

Well that sucks. With Pfeiffer, Bowden and Cornes all out, will be one down this week. Ellis and Hill are more immediate issues, so Bowden survives. Although not being named as emergency is very worrying indeed...

Problem is, Ellis will decrease while JB doesn't change in price.

I'm considering:

I hadn't intended on trading Bowden, but being a man down in defence and him not even being named on the extended bench has me considering it's time for him to go.

Should I go:
Bowden -> King (make 15k, King looking like a top 4 defender)
Ellis -> Goddard
Then next week,
Hill -> Brad Johnson (neither should change in price all that much)

OR

Ellis -> Goddard
Hill - BJ,
take the zero and hope Bowden comes back in sooner rather than later.

Thoughts?

Ellis will be okay and will average around the 50-60 all year, he appears to have found his position and should hang around all year.

Im looking at going

Bowden - Goddard
Griffen - Bruce

Griffen has a high b/e has sydney this week and 2x 40's in his rolling average.

IMO Compared to other backs ellis isnt too much of a worry

I have to keep him when I don't want too. I will be copping one zero this week regardles because of Cornes, Bowden, Hartlett, Pfieffer.

So I reckon I'd rather cop a zero from Bowden than Pfieffer and looking at these trades.

Trading in a rookie who hasn't been promoted or played a game.
Ain't the greatest but I blame Pfieffer who gets dropped and couldn't score more than 40 to go up just enough.

He had a good pre season but for someone who is yet to play a game I believe all his hype is unwarrented.

I too have held onto him but this was the last straw this week. Not only is he not even in the emergency list, but also because the Tiges have admitted that Bowden will come back in a new forward role where he is unlikel to get cheap kicks.

That and the fact Chad is out for a bit.

i got rid of him after the win in freo, swapped him for wonamerri, and upgraded barlow to jimmy bartel.
joel is in trouble, his lack of leg speed has been his downfall. if he comes back it will be as a forward, and i dont know how well he will score.
if the game is tight and the tigers are up and its the 4th quarter, you might see him down back for some composure, but long gone are the days of joel racking 30 possies and 15 marks from the backline./
