There is something a bit odd I've noticed. Houses are quietly being sold without a listing but it's not that so much which is a bit odd, it's who's moving in to them. They're law enforcement.

Not in big numbers yet that I can see but where I've noticed it, they don't need to be.

So I could get a bit paranoid about this and in wondering why it might seem their people are strategically being placed in to the suburbs. It can only be for surveillance and intervention imo. Trouble coming? They're expecting civil disobedience perhaps.

There's three houses for sale in my area so I'll be having a looksie. That being said this is Perth so probably a different ball game.

There's very, very little need for police in my area as it is so if cops move in suddenly ....

These are houses that weren't on the open market and no FOR SALE sign up out the front, they were sold quietly. And a tip, you might not see a uniform if you can peg the house but it won't mean they're not either ... ?

Probably just a coincidence that I've noticed this. I hope.

There aren't many things that are coincidence.
Maybe the algorithms have shown that your area has a high chance of push back or rebellion. So might as well throw some enforcers in just in case

Not really in that I've heard of a few quiet residential real estate transactions, times are strange though.

There's a stack of off-market sales happening now because the RE market is so hot, saves the vendor some of the costs. And something like 1/3 of homes are going before auction that are listed on market.

Might be you happen to live in an area that suits law enforcement to buy into as well, proximity to work and such.
