I don't think anyone in their right mind would trade JB, unless the compensation was in the Godfather offer type of range. You don't get better by trading your best players, in general, however if someone offered you say pick 5 and 15 for Jack, would you do it? If Adelaide sent us an early first rounder and Mitch McGovern, would you? It would give us something to consider, as unlikely as they are to happen.

Agree entirely. And the type of trade is the only thing I would take. And if they gave us a top 5 and McGovern, I would take it, reluctantly.

David King will then say McGovern is a bust and we could have just take the top 5 pick anyway or some slack jawed response like that

I would be tempted with both but I would have sleepless nights over it so my answer would have to be a definite...... maybe!
