why so...coz we wont allow Buddy to walz around and kick a lazy 8.6. The hawks have monstered the opposition on the back of their talls so far this year. We have done pretty well on key forwards all year and in cases when we've lost that aint the reason. The dogs are the highest scoring side in 2008...we did well to hold them out from pinching it ...If we can replicate that effort v the Hawks we can WIN..

just waltzed over to the Hawks board and boy are they full of themselves or what Admittedly their side is very good but they think they will win every game by 10 goals+ ... golden rule of football is never underestimate the opposition and I believe that if we run and run and run like we did today (well for most of the day today) we can really give them a run for their money

having said that if we don't show up mentally we could get a real towelling. Can't wait for this week

there is no secret about how to beat the hawks, the answer is simple , play man on man tough accountable fiity and they crumble.

i remember last yr at the G, the hawks flew out of the blocks v sydney and after quarter time were way infront, but the 2nd quarter the swans started manning up playing hard accountable footy and buddy and his gay friends all crumbled

We just outpaced the the league leaders at fast paced footy, if our backline holds up this will be another gem of a game, but we'll have learnt from this week to never let up. I'm tipping us for sure.

Play Thursty on Franklin and Schultz on Roughead. Thursty has beat every opponent this year and I think he can quieten Franklin. We are a good chance as long as our midfield works hard

That was a year ago. Id move on if thats all you have got to go by. The 2008 Hawks are in a different place.

We crumble? North play that style. When we played them, we won. Adelaide too are a very defensive minded team. Rather then "crumble" we dished them out their biggest loss in 2 seasons.

Problem is for next week that you cant just snap your fingers and change your gameplan and expect it to be effective. You would be better suited to keep playing the way you are and hope for the best

Thursty was lucky he didn't have 4 goals kicked on him in the 1st quarter by Welsh.Thought he had an ordinary game.Franklin needs someone smart on him who won't allow him to swing on to his left foot when the ball comes to ground as he is not very good on the right side.

Hawthorn 5-0 vs Richmond 2-2-1...should be a straight forward victory...but it never is against you guys! last year...you guys shot out of the blocks and it took as a good 3 quarters to get on top of ya's

we should win...but you never know with you guys..you can tell this year you guys have turned a corner! hope to see u guys in the finals in the not to distant future!
