When i emigrated from Ireland, I thought it was a cruel trick that the wind made things hotter, not cooler. A south wind is lovely & warm in Irish summer, but no matter the direction the wind is refreshing at least . Baltic cold in winter, of course, from the North East.
Wind today will be like opening the oven door.
