Hopefully he wants to stay.. that is the question.
I have no intel but my understanding based on everything that's been shared through the media is that he definitely does want to stay.

Whether we want to keep him or not is the question, but that'll really come down to what happens between now and the end of the year.

Please don't get me wrong but i feel that Jamarra is a better kick then Buku have'ing that i do hope Buku will how ever we'll prove mr wrong
Marra field kicking is great
Buku set shot kicking is great

Other than one completely unsubstantiated rumour of the laziest kind. That relied entirely upon the baseline similarities that JUH shares with Buddy Franklin and Sydneys perennial search for a decent full forward that makes Odysseus's journey seem like a bit of an afternoon stroll in the park.

What makes you think he wants otherwise?

But Morris promised us he wasn't capping! ( a word I use daily now by the way).
He did then put alot of mayo on it to save his bum but who could question the all knowing Tom Morris.

Its like the nonsense that started on the weekend about how Collingwood are super duper confident of signing Ben King in 2027!

Which just flies in the face of Ben King doing the hard yards on the Gold Coast when they were garbage. When the easiest thing in the world would've been to head back to the huge money on offer back home in Melbourne.

It's just a repeat of ancient times when Newspapers would put a Collingwood related story on the back pages. Because they knew they sold. Now it's just a pathetic rush to be first on twitter. All the while the churn of bullshit goes on as they move away from the stench of one soon forgotten brain fart and onto the next one.

It's funny how the connecting thread between these stories is always that players are moving from lesser clubs to the high and mighty. Its clickbait that is as lazy as it is stupid.

But the gullible or overly optimistic continue to eat it up.

Buddha says, don't get all worked up in your mind imagining the bad thing thing happening. Savour the aroma of your morning coffee mindfully and bask in the rays of Marra goodness.

Buku has been a very serviceable forward, but he’s not even close to Jamarra (in form), sorry.
Agree with this. I like Buku but I don't imagine opposition coaches plan for him, they plan for Naughton and Darcy, for sure. If Jamarra is in top form, then Naughton becomes the player they don't plan for and you can sign me up for that.

A forward line works with Naughton, Darcy, Marra and Buku

Buku has and can play the shutdown forward role while still being an threat
Not in today's footy, a top 8 defence would waltz it out once it hits the deck. Only 2 of those names are needed, 3 at the most and I yet to be convinced the 3 talls work anyway. 3 talls only work with 3 ultra quicks at the feet. We don't have that. Look at the team sitting on top of the ladder. McStay (196), Mihocek (192) and Membrey (188) rotating, that rest are smalls.

This is a good first step but I think it's fair to hold off on assessing where Marra is at until he can consistently string a few solid weeks together. Rock up to training consistently, play VFL footy week in week out if his body can hold up, and tone down the social media antics especially when we've got games on.

This is actually about the third step I'd say. (Admit you need help, return home and continue progress, return to employment). His progress can not be understated ans must be commended. However I do agree training consistently and remaining on the straight and narrow now back in his original environment is the biggest potentially most challenging hurdle.

Also found meself using my “new word”… Said to the Mrs the other day during a conversation “you’re capping me”
(She just looked at me stupid and continued prattling on)

Great sign, club and supporters need to get around him now. If he can put in the work and get his attitude right I'm curious to see how a JUH-Darcy-Naughton-Weightman forward line operates next year. Last time all those pieces were in place it was a shambles. Darcy as the #1 with Naughton #2 seems to work.

I don't want to see that rubbish of everyone leading to the same spots/flying for the same ball again.
