I've posted earlier that supercars have it wrong with their timing loop. Scott went in so slow that the pit speed limiter sped the car up to a respectable 38km/h from 33.6km/h which would have triggered an increase of speed over the loop distance. They have robbed them of the championship and DJR know this.

Very unfortunate that the rain didn’t stay all race. Once the track partially dried you had to drive like a train or you risked spinning out. Off the racing line was impossible.
