"The List Manager"

Yep, nothing at all. Riewoldt, Cotch, Rance, Vickery, Nahas, Cousins, Martin, Grimes, maybe future players like Griff, Astbury, Dea, Post and some handy types in Morton and Edwards... Yep, he helped draft nothing but duds.

Wallace wasn't around when we picked up Martin or Grimes.

My main gripe was how he ended the career of A. Kellaway. That was disgraceful!

We wouldn't be bagging him if Brown didn't break his leg too.

We were second on the table, in red hot form and Browny was second or first on the Coleman.

Then he broke his leg and ripped the soul and feeling out of the year and we never recovered with Wallace.

Not to meantion I think Wallace was told to bring finals, so he took the punt with some recycled players.

Sometimes it works (Sydney, St. Kilda, Brisbane - '01-'04) and others it doesn't (Richmond, Brisbane '10-'11)

Don't just hate for the sake of it, that being said, don't just bring him up after the last few years.

This is a new era, not just with the coach but the club as a whole, lets embrace it and move on, I don't think many of our coaches since 1980 have ever really had a fair chance to show their wares, owing to the woeful situation our club had gotten itself into after the Collingwood/Richmond trade debacle, I honestly believe we have past this stage now and finally we are moving in the right direction, hopefully we will never again expect our coaches to paint the clubrooms or supply weights for training.

Go Tigers!

The name "list manager" wasnt his idea but that of his employer. Whats different with him as an ex triple premiership player, four time best and fairest, all Australian and senior coach joining the media?

For what its worth, i have enjoyed his media work this year.

Fair dinkum, people need to move on from this. Its yesterdays news. Get over it and worry about something important in life.

The fact he set the club back a few years doesn't tend to sit well with the members. In my eyes he was a horrible coach and is currently a worthless commentator.

I think he is demonised a bit too much. The list he got in 04 was horrible and an absolute disaster. Sure draft picks were wasted in 2004/2005, but I would blame the recruiters for that more than Wallace.

The pick 19 for McMahon was not meant to be 35 and was a mistake.

He was an average coach and made some bad calls but I think people are taking it a bit too personally.

I blame Wallet. I remember the year we got McMahon, seing Wallet on the monday of trade week at the Mildura Grand Hotel enjoying a few drinks.

I know we have recruiters and such to deal with trade week but surely if you were half serious about your footy team youd be in Melbourne where its all happening.

Wallace did NOT draft Tambling or Jarred Oakleigh Nicholls. He told recruiters to get him the "best available" because our list was terrible.

However, he did play a role in bringing McMahon to Tigerland

Cut him some slack... it wasnt all his fault (as much as it is easy to blame him)

Listen up fool. So in your deluded mind, a coach just says get me the best available and then has no input on who the recruiters put forward as possibilities? Ontop of all that, even if you were slightly on the money, do the words, "he will make his critics eat their words" , ring a bell? The recruiters didnt say them, Wallet did..fool ;)
