Amusing stuff really. Sit just below midtable and playing drab style of football and nearly all want him out.All these clubs sacking managers that are in a position than ours. We need Levy back to join in the sacking fun.
They finally get an owner from greater Manchester and lose a bit of their identity, that figuresAnother chapter in the great reign of Sir James Arthur Ratcliffe, who was fittingly born in the town of Failsworth.
Long may it continue.
I kind of liked the passion he showed in that press conference. The higher ups who make the decisions are the problem at the club. We've had great domestic success in recent years and a lot of people saying that we're entitled, spoilt and the reaction to Nancy was OTT, but they sell fans that they have this vision they want Celtic to go up another level & to be more competitive in Europe, but they've been saying that for years.Nancy did the maresca rant a couple of days before maresca did. Then Amorim did the maresca rant and got himself sacked right away. One wonders why Celtic waited so long.
You’ve been shite in Europe for years but you haven’t had the managers with good European track records.I kind of liked the passion he showed in that press conference. Don't expect Celtic to win the CL any time soon, but they could try copying off some of the playing models of teams in Belgium, Holland and in Scandanavia, but they don't have people at the club to do that and haven't for a long time.
Maybe, he's shown to be inflexible in a league you need to be flexible in. As well as a style that is high volume of shots from distance and having a say in buying players who had a good penalty inflated season only to be back to bang average this season.

There was no point keeping him, I don't even know if he was any good still because they bought players for a 4-3-3 and didn't get him what he needed. United committed to him but they didn't commit to his players, they safeguarded for a future without him. There's not one player signed who specializes in a wing back systemThis was David Moyes record (win % of 52.94) vs Ruben Amorim (38.10)

As much as I would have held onto Amorim for at least six months into next season to see how he fares with two more transfer windows under his belt, his record was shockingly shit. Only Ralf Rangnick had a lower winning % and he was an interim manager for 29 matches.
Maresca didnt get sacked, he walked without saying goodbye to anyone. Just grabbed his shit and left.Make a few public statements after bad results that make their role untenable.
Maresca and Amorim following the well proven way for managers to get the sack and get a huge payout.
