Mundy - gets named first because he's the captain. And was ******* shit, much like most of the year.
Ibbo - terrible. Almost beyond redemption into the delist pile.
Spurr - horrible. Not quite at Ibbo bad level, but only a couple more games like that from it.
Clarke - delist. Period.
D Pearce - should be delisted but can't be. Whoever decided he was worth a 2 year extension should be summarily shot.
Ballantyne - laughable that he would think he's worth a contract extension.
Sheridan and Sutcliffe - no longer have any excuses, been around long enough and have shown no improvement this year.
Mayne - a worse defender than a forward. And he's a pretty shit forward.

Ther was an instance on the flank where the ball was loose and a GWS player grabbed it. Ibbotson just jogged along and left Collins to chase. I would have thought Ross would have taken him from the ground. He has certainly gone backwards quickly. On the other hand I thought Clarke played the best I,Ve seen of him for quite a while. Weller is going to be a beauty.

That doesn't even include the likes of Sheridan, Sutcliffe, Taberner and a bunch of others which continually show they're not up to it yet get gifted games.

Now that Lyon hasn't got a quality, mature squad he's looking like an average coach.

Ross is like Mourhino, in the sense both coaches need experienced players to execute their game plan.

Both would seem to burn players out after x amount of years and need to move on.

Basically we're are gambling on Ross being a coach who can utilise youth and create a new game plan. The best part about the 5 year contract is that by the end of it Ross won't have another job if he fails at Freo- who would touch a coach that can't adapt?

Mayne never fooled me in those 2012/13 seasons. All his goals besides the granny one were piss easy. Sure he was accurate, but most of those goals could be kicked by an ammo in c4 league as they were 20-30 meters out.

Agree on taberner. At best hes a 3rd foward for us, but if we pull lobb and mccarthy, Apeness gets fit and yarran continues..he might be a chance for the Bernie Naylor.
