Sorry to re-live bad vibes from you guys, but does someone have a link to the famous michael johnson bump on youtube or something? Its always being talked about as a terribly judged suspension, but I haven't actually seen it before.

Looks worse than Kerr's coz it he hit the head. Kerr didn't actually make contact to the head from my recollection. Johnno was offered two weeks but our mgt., if you could call them that, decided to contest.

He was offered 3 weeks, and they quite rightly decided to contest. No way you'd get 3 or 4 weeks for that now.

Actually Kerr did hit his head, but it wasn't as forceful. Just saw it again on tv !!I still would have taken the three weeks in hindsight. It is a wonderful thing, that hindsight.

Have another look. Johnno mainly got his chestas He was falling because Groves was tackling him.

That's actually the first time i've seen it too and after everyone complaining about what a rough deal he got and how he should have been let off, it actually looks pretty bad.

Maybe unlucky with the tackle.. wasn't much malice in it, but not surprised he didnt get off anyway.

I'm looking mate, and I am seeing an arm straight to the head. His elbow doesn't even go much below his chin at the point of contact, so I can't see how you can see him hitting his chest. I've never seen a guys head fly back like that from a bump to the chest either!

His head is level with the number on Johnno's back. He went backwards when Johnno's ample bottom got him.

If there was any contact to the head in was minimal as His head does not appear to move sideways at all.

Maybe, It looks worse than it was though becuase of the big shunt on his chest with his bottom.

No one here would have thought that He would have been hard done by if he got a week.

There can be no doubt that the Johnson decision was a crock. Worse incidents have not even been referred to the tribunal whereas others have received less.

Since that soft c&^k Peter Schwabb has been removed from the system things have taken on a more reasonable attitude.

Johnson was indeed robbed.
