Im sure that sums up most peoples rounds.
I had my worst round of the year by 300 points, just managing to get to 1818. My ranking slipped from 22nd to 57th overall. Everyone in the top 50 this week scored higher than me. As mentioned previously in this thread, i have been waiting for the slide and i guess that to stay in the top 100 is still pretty good. Ill just call it a mid season slump lol.

I only had 5 players score over 100 (Drummond, Selwood, SJohnson, Franklin, Roo). The big let downs were Gilbee, Higgins, Rich, JBrown and Chappy with 3 of those players now injured.
Judd really summed up my team this week. Frigin shitehouse! 66 points as captain makes it really tough to post a good score.

I ended up trading Hodgey and Kraks last week to Grimes and SJohnson. Im happy with both these trades, though with Higgins injury the Kraks trade is a little more suspect. At least i have the cash to get Ablett back next week.

With Gilbee, Chappy and Higgins all injured on the weekend it will be tough to come back from this slump quickly. Hopefully Hurley, Broughton and Beams come back into their teams this week. I probably wont do anymore trading until Ablett is locked firmly back into my midfield.

As frustrating as this weekend was, and as disappointing as it is to slide down the rankings, this game really is all about having fun and thats what im gonna continue to do.

Pretty much summed it up.

Scored 1868 with 3 scores over 100 with:

Higgins, Gilbee, Chappy all in doubt

Ziebell not so sure about

Hurm, Fev, JB, Judd, Gibbs, Rich, Grimes all screwed me pretty heavily. Luckily Gazza was back saved me from getting around 1600ish

Only positives for me were Gazza, Hasleby and Drummond

Went up from 989 to 974 in overall rankings with a score of 1922 so not too bad considering it was a low scoring round.

Won all my 3 league games too including my Bigfooty Div 7 one. Bad luck Straight Arms.

So many players let me down this week, its like an honor roll -

I average an injury a week and will probably lose Gilbee now. Really need Broughton back so do the world a favor (and me aswell) and play him over your mega spuds in DeBouer and Suban Mark Harvey you hack of a coach!

Roll on next week, can only get better I hope and back to the land of 2100 + scores. LOL

Wished i had Ablett from the start of the season so i wouldn't have to worry about choosing who will be my captain. I had Jud as captain and he didnt do well which resulted to me losing by 20 points.

scored 1913, my first score below 2000 for the season. had 16 of my 22 players score below there season averages. 4 guys with tons(Drummond, Adcock, Riewoldt, Buddy). As many negatives as there were this weekend, the positives i can take are that i chose my 2nd highest scorer as captain(nice job Rooey), only slipped 7 places(38th to 45th), won all 3 of my league matches, our BF div 4 league only slipped 1 place down to 4th and theres 300k sitting in the bank for the return of the son of god.

Went from 89th to 158th with a score of 1823. Not sure what I'm going do with Waite/Higgins. Hopefully this was a one off bad week.

Another tough round for me with 1887. Dropping from 4th to 8th. Glad I’m still top 10. Since I hit top I have had my 2 worst rounds of the year and made some trades that haven’t worked yet. Picking up Hodge, NDS and Brown in the last 3 weeks has not paid dividends, but it will in the long run.


Only 4 over 100
Drummond, Volt, Pendles and Selwood.

Carrying injuries in the form of hodge, Chapman and higgins.

Nearly all my players, excluding some rookies went down in price this week. Lol


Still in a great position. Top team has pulled away a little, but he has 3 cat midfielders, bit of a risk having four cat midfielders once he gets GAJ back.
I also suspect he has used more trades than me to.

Probably hold off on GAJ 1 more week.

1985 was my total for the round and although it was my lowest score of the year i still moved up 420 odd spots to be just outside the top 1000. i've been managing to avoid injuries in my first season of sc but have used half my trades already which probably is to be expected of a first year scer

Complete poo over here aswell. 1901, slipped 4 spots to 12th. Better than i imagined, but still not good enough. Spuds everywhere except Drummond and Sewell. Even Buddy, ok he got 112 i think, but against that mob, kickin what 3 in the first quarter ,he shoulda delivered a 150.

Jonno Brown??? Oh dear, shoulda got ROK instead. JB had better stand up soon.

i scored 1846 and slipped from 1818 to 2288. I expected a lower score because i had a lot of spare cash however I got off to a terrible start and even a reasonable recovery towards the end couldn't get me to 2000.

I am not super stressed about it because i think there's upside in my team in terms of new players coming in and the ones I have surely can't score so badly at one time again.

The Judd (c) debacle shows how important the perma-captain is because he takes that guessing decision out each week.

I only had 4 scores over 100: Drummond, Kornes, Swan and Selwood. Other positives were only having 1 injury worry in Higgins and a promising 85 from Hamish Hartlett who I am hoping can turn into a solid scoring 6th midfielder or nice cash cow towards the end.

My next 2 moves will be to bring Ablett back and get another decent forward.

Another challenging week... each week for the past few I have thought I am ready to turn the other but it gets a bit worse. 1838 scraped me over the line to be 6-0 in my league but haven't cracked 2000 in a month now after a blistering start and my weekly average is down to 2075. Good enough for 8,322 overall after being top 2000 a month ago so I continue to slide.

The good was Ablett, Drummond, Riewoldt, Franklin and Adcock over 100, sorely disappointed by a lot more though in particular Kerr, Cooney, Fevola, worries with Higgins and Krakouer, in all likelihood will downgrade one to a rookie and upgrade another to ROK, then with extra cash will bring in Judd.

Really want to start getting over 2000 again.

1605. My look side looked like an abortion.

Went Cox as (C) over Judd so i was reasonably happy saturday afternoon. After my midfield pulled over 950 points last week without a captain from the mids they only managed 502 with Selwood (109) and Sewell (145 - i love you) the only two who can hold their head high.

My love/hate relationship with Bartel continues, has been frustrating. So up and down, happy to know that despite playing pretty average he's still averaging 110.

Backline had two zeroes from Broughton and Bock and highest scorer was Cornes (97), same story up forward with Brown (102) the only one who can hold his head high. Have Higgins, Krakouer, Chapman and Gilbee to worry about on the injury front and im also carrying Hodge and Bock.

Various other fails from the weekend included Rich (44) over Otten (99) and Walker (33) over Brown (69), need gaz back but really don't want to get rid of Otten. He's been amazing

Pretty bad week for me this week. Last week posted my season high 2,227 (ranked 1,195 for the week) which had me over the moon, then I get 1,711 which got me a weekly ranking of 141,611... ugh. Also dropped 3,500 down the overall ranking to 11,000.

Good: Sewell, Franklin, Roo
Bad: Pav as captain, underperfoming premiums, Boak 47!
Worst: Injuries to Gilbee, Higgins, Moss, dropped $110,000 in team value
Even worse: My emergencies (M Brown, J Anthony and Tayte Pears) outscored 8 of my on field players

reaonably happy, compared to above with a 2081, moved up overall from 953 to 498. Glad i bit the bullet and went with GAJ as el capitain, rather then Judd, or Bartel who I was considering.

Trade wise for this week, waiting on what the bullys are doing with Higgins, possible out for Budwood, as well as hoping the broughton plays so can cash in hill.

Usual suspects failed, only pleasing thing was bringing Porps in, let see if he continues to produce.

Welcome back Gaz this week i think but chappy/Gilbee/Higgins are going to put some pressure on me.

• Walker (BE 86) > Sammy Wright and T Tuck >J McVeigh or Goodes + Cash left over.. However I feel like I'm trading in too many rookies??

• I could leave Higgins till next week and rely on J Brown to drop more in value and pick him up cheap?? and just tidy up my midfield

So have a lot of thinking and need more news on Higgins as he is my only long term injury concern at the moment. But personally I think my midfield needs some attention!

What a shocking week!!! Scored 1665 which is my worst score by over 400pts for the year. I dropped from 319 to 966, i thought i would fall further than that. To make things worse i traded in wait last week and have more injuries with chappy and maybe higgs and gilbee missing again!!! Not a good week!!!!

2022 this week jumped me 420 place to 865.Drummond,Buddy Kosi,Goodes , Roo and Neon Leon you star scored 100+. Dawson 89 lol scored more than Gilbert and Fisher who had a brilliant combined last quarter score of 5

Pav, Juddy, Bartel, Cox, Power. Cooney, Chappy J.Brown, Gilbee and Higgins all well below their best so iam happy with the final score.

i think a lot of people are feeling like that this week. so many injuries and trades used it just looks impossible to find a way through. hopefully things will get better
