3 of my all time favourites back then and now

yes, yes and yes!
I only heard the Peter Sarstedt song the other day - have it on my iTunes- but didn't get around to posting that here. Did he have any other hits or was he a one-hit wonder?
And I think I quoted 'those were the days my friend' just yesterday, which had me humming as I was typing the words![]()
I hate to admit it but I have 60's and 70's music nearly spewing out of my brain.Oh yeah, I know that song!!
How about some KISS?
Haha- that's a real bugger if you aren't going to the concert, isn't it?They were in concert in Melbourne at Etihad 2013. Got stuck in their traffic!

I used to know all the names of songs and be able to match them with the singers in the 80s- but it's almost all gone.. though I think I can remember those things better than I can remember my kids' names sometimes.I hate to admit it but I have 60's and 70's music nearly spewing out of my brain.
I got my daughters' names mixed up a few times today
We had a meeting at Etihad on a Tuesday pm, footy related, but shocking timing.Haha- that's a real bugger if you aren't going to the concert, isn't it?![]()
Yeah, this is a classic from top of the pops.Anybody else a fan of Top of the Pops?
Yeah, this is a classic from top of the pops.
Nah I don't think you're a tragic, I was a teen in the 90s but I reckon 1966 to about 1974 are the best years of music.I used to listen to it on BBC radio. Thanks to Youtube, I have been watching every episode, tragic aren't I?
Do you remember this beauty?
Very nice! Sounds a bit like a bloke singing, doesn't she?
Nothing better than going back over old memories, VdubsI used to listen to it on BBC radio. Thanks to Youtube, I have been watching every episode, tragic aren't I?
Hope you're introducing your kids to your Top of the Pops music
I've got my vinyls hidden away- hid them from my kids 20 years ago because my son used to break the needle off my record player whenever I had my music out. Have never fixed it up since.Vinyl is king!
As long as my hubby doesn't chuck them down the back shed, I think they'll survive.

Neil Young- something a little different:
]
I went on a 2 week excursion up to Alice Springs with a busload of Uni students many years ago and I was the only person who brought music along. Sadly for them, I think I had 4 Neil Young tapes, 1 Simon and Garfunkel and another couple... lol Just remembered- another was Tom Waits' Heart Attack and Vine album.Neil Young one of my all time favourites.
