Was looking at a few Halestorm clips on Youtube when I came across this one:
It got me thinking of cover versions bands have done over the years of songs you'd never expect them to cover, ie. rock bands covering R&B songs and stuff like that. Not only that, but nailing them. Stuff like The Living End covering the theme song to Prisoner:
Or Frankenbok covering the 1990's Madison Avenue song Don't Call Me Baby:
This one is probably cheating a bit, but the Screaming Jets did an awesome cover of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" for Andrew Denton's Musical Challenge:
Anyone know of any other examples?
