Thats always tough

Agree with you on Memphis 1st Q being strongest, Have that one penciled in also. just waiting till opens :thumbsu:

Goodluck today mate

It most certainly is because you always get a sense that the ones you trim will be the ones that get up, most of the time they do don't they? :p

If Millsap is out, it most certainly is the strongest play in my book.

Same to you.

agree 100%

Am looking at the handicaps for today's games:

Miami @ -6.5 - After taking the Bucks to pieces just days ago, Miami should have plenty of steam to put this result beyond doubt. James and the Holy Trinity to lead the way, with Arroyo to bounce back after a poor shooting performance last time around.

Orlando @ -9 - The Magic run rampant at home, and should do so against the Rockets as well. Superman, Turkoglu, and Arenas to feature strongly.

Chicago @ +1 - Boozer and Co should have enough to beat Philly on their own turf.

Spurs @ Over 199.5 - Am tipping a shoot-out in this one between a reliable force (Spurs) and one of this season's surprise packets (Pacers).

New York @ +2 - After knocking off the Spurs the other day, the Knicks may finally be the real deal. The Suns appear at sea, with increasing speculation of lynchpin Nash's departure. Amare to run riot and deliver the points for the Knicks.

I dont take a great deal of notice regarding line movements.

That's a sure fire way to lose money. With the Indiana game as an example. If you think that Indiana are good at +6 and see the line is moving out (to +7) then you can wait knowing that Australian books will catch up and you will get an extra point. When Indiana lose by 6 those you take no notice get a push, whilst those you do take notice win.
There was a good example of this only a week ago with the O/U in a Lakers game. I think Cruiser and I got a push but many ppl complained about a loss.

Yeah i agree but i put my bets on at night our time because i'll often not have a chance to put them on before the game so if the line moves there's not a heck of alot i can do about it anyway. I figure over time i'll even out with favourable and unfavourable line movements.

Late withdrawals is what hurts me most which i guess coincides with line movements anyway.

Might have to take a look at that big ass play now :thumbsu:
On it at -7, good luck to us both :thumbsu:

The Bucks every once in a while seem to surprise so hopefully it's not one of those games. In their last 15, they've beaten Orlando, LA and Dallas twice and covered against Orlando another time as well as SAS.

But more importantly they've lost to Miami twice by 10 and 12 and have Jennings and co still out :D

i like a few player performance bets today....

Chandler +20.5 points vs Phoenix $1.95.. Knicks will want to run and hit lots of open shots here... and With Gallinari out.. Chandler figures to play 40-44 minutes... he's coming off 31... so have no doubt he will top 20.5 in a fast paced game...

also like Gortat in the same game both +11.5 points $2.10 and +6.5 reb $1.74... he is becoming more comfortable now and has been posting numbers mainly above this in his last few games.. Amare gives away lots of cheap baskets through not wanting to rack up fouls... i can see Gortat going something like 15/10 today..

also love Gstate +109.5 points $1.83.. think they will go crazy and hit around 120 today, and cleveland like to play faster now as well so as long as Gstate shoot half ok it should fly over:)

Bet of the day is Grizz -2... think they are finally coming together and realise they need to make a push to get playofffs.. only lost by 6 to jazz in Utah and things have turned Memphis's way now with Millsap possible out and Grizzlies starting to roll...

other leans are Blazers -2.5, Knicks +2.5, Philly +1.5, gstate -10.5 .... not sure on Spurs if there's uncertainty regarding parker but still think they'll win without him as George Hill is very capable.. just unsure if they'd cover -5.5

When you look more into it though it is not as impressive.

Win against Magic = No JJ, Nelson, Dwight and Anderson.
2nd win against Dallas = No Dirk, Marion and Butler injured in 1st.
LA in a massive form slump.

1st win against Dallas was impressive but they had Jennings.

Cover ATS against Magic but lost by 10 still.
Both Magic and SA covers were backdoor covers with the Bucks being down by double digits before half time.

3rd game in 4 days with a winnable game tomorrow night against the Nets. Miami have a day off tomorrow.

You managed to trim down a bit :) Lucky you left out Raptors 1st Q. Good luck on rest of your plays :thumbsu:

Got one back today with Granger hitting a 3 on the buzzer to get the Pacer within the 3. Though they did blow a 4 point lead with 3 minutes left.

A bit yeah, lol.

Probably add the Knicks too, small play though.
