Binged 5 episodes of All of Us are Dead. Pretty good Korean zombie series. A lot like Train to Busan but in a school rather than a train.

Finished S3 of After Life. It was ok. Everything wrapped up ok in the end I guess.

Loving it so far. 5 eps into S3 and Tony has just thrown his dad's ashes over the salty bar owner.

I disagree with him being a campaigner to everyone, compared to early he was a Saint. Totally agree on everything else though. A huge drop in quality. Laughs very rare and way too much time devoted to nothing characters like the wannabe actor and his loser friend. Plus another half hour or so of watching Ricky watch videos and drink wine.

The other telling thing is the gag reel is only about 13 minutes long as opposed to 20+ minutes for the other seasons.

Might have. Had to look it up. Wifey assures me we have but I think it was just her or it had so little impact on me I don't recall it at all.

The only interesting characters in stay close were the 2 whack job musical theatre murderers and their climaxes were boring af. One was even off camera. Cassie and Dave were inexplicably rich. Dave didn't appear to have a job at all and cassie only when it suited the plot line. It became obvious who the killer was because there was literally nobody else it could be.

There was plenty more I found annoying about it but that'll do.

thanks for the heads up. I keep watching these British dramas and like some but the relentless depressing themes don't do anything for me. Twists are also obvious because they never do what you think they will do.

We're getting toward the end of the zombie series from South Korea, 'All of us are dead,' and while it has been OK, I think it would've been better if it was only like eight episodes. It just becomes repetitive as what zombies do is limited, and the act of survival has limited story scope. But it's well made, and the kids do a great job at playing zombies.

I think the amazing part is how nasty the teens are to each other even when necessity calls for them to act together to survive, a few of them still put pre-existing grudges before anything else. There are some insane acts of selfishness with these teen survivors, that you find yourself hoping the zombies will get them. Remind me never to go through a zombie apocalypse with a group of self-absorbed, morose teenagers. Yikes.

On a side note, if this school is typical of high schools in South Korea, then I'd have to say their govt must put a lot of money into education. So many facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Harlan Coben's TV series have been very hit and miss for me. I enjoyed some but hated others.

The Stranger was okay, but I couldn't even keep my eyes open for Stay Close.

Enjoyed a lot of his books though.
