I only wish more of it was on FTA rather than the one game. It's been fantastic though, it's been building up to this point over the last four years, and for some of the girls a lifetime. I can safely say we are a foundation club across more than one league. A century later and we still pioneer football in a way

I started to hate Mo Hope less after seeing her on 7:30 Report. Dammit Collingwood scum who's actually a nice person.

Oh don't get me wrong, i don't hate her. She's a great player. I just feel on the eve of launch that Daisy has been forgotten about by oppo fans very quickly, after doing so much

I'm just being jealous on Daisy's behalf, because she's to much of a champ to do that herself

Even in the womens league which we basically created we are shafted in favour of the bigger clubs

e.g. Collingwood v Carlton in the opener.... should be us vs dogs

Mo Hope is an awesome story. She's one of 14 kids and grew up in a 2 BR house. She is also the cater of her younger sister who I think has high needs. Plus she's a gun, intimidating power forward. I hope she dominates and gets paid $250k a year. I reckon the ratings for AFLW will be huge which will be followed by clamouring sponsors and TV deals which will be followed by very large pay rises. I can't wait to watch the game tonight.

How good is Vescio?! Talk about dynamic. Hope looks either unfit or injured. Can't get near it tonight.
Game has been ****ing brutal. I think they need to protect the head more and start penalising the slinging tackles. The first half has looked dangerous. A lot of the girls just aren't protecting themselves at all.

God she's average. I'm all for women commentating sports, but you actually need women who are professionals with talent. Listening to the women who call the cricket on 774, the women calling the tennis, and daisey on here..... shows that its about who you get to do it, not getting some clueless ditz who mixes it with the boys.

Daisey also knows her role. She's there for special comments, so chimes in with insightful things she's thought about at opportune moments. Sam Lane couldn't do that..... or call the game. Seeing as she's doing the same role as Richo..... speaks volumes doesn't it?
