I thought it was generally understood that this was the case. AFL games that were already being held in Perth are ho hum to the government, it's attracting 'events' that gets them excited.It was interesting to hear the comment on OTC that everyone else is getting the ground for free but they expect the AFL teams to pay millions.
Surprised the local media hasn't picked up on it and put some questions to Mick Murray.
Frankly, I am a little surprised the NRL are getting it for free, and not being paid to come.
