The Ninth Plinth

There was a bit of discussion on the radio about the plinths that the premiership cups sat on, especially the 'empty' ninth one. Some on the radio thought it a mathematical error, others a touch of arrogance.

Me - I liked the idea that it symbolised that the work is not yet complete. Not arrogance, but letting the club know that we are hungry for more.

(then the team ran out and showed how hungry they were!)
