First class crickers who played senior state league football XI.

Geoff Marsh (WA & Aus, South Fremantle)
Graeme Wood (WA & Aus, East Fremantle)
Jamie Siddons (SA, Sydney)
Nick Jewell (Vic, Richmond)
Vic Richardson (SA, Sturt)(The Chappell brothers granddad)
Simon O'Donnell (Vic & Aus, St.Kilda)
Keith Miller (Vic, NSW & Aus, St.Kilda)
Tim Zoehrer (WA & Aus, East Fremantle)
Ian Brayshaw (WA, Claremont)(James Brayshaws dad)
Mick Malone (WA & Aus, Subiaco)
Max Walker (Vic & Aus, Melbourne)

Laurie Nash

Presumably the team is selected on FC cricket performance rather than football; hence the omission of Bradley, Peter Bedford, John Scholes, etc. and the inclusion of, eg, Jewell and O'Donnell.

Fair point. If I could be arsed, I'd do the obverse side, the great footballers who incidentally played first class cricket.

Geoff Hurst scored three less for Essex in his only first class game than he did in England’s finest two hours. Dennis Compton would have been a dual international but for the war too.

As it stands, he is both an Ashes winner and an FA Cup winner.

I'd be curious to see an XI of players who could have played Golf professionally. Ricky Ponting immediately springs to mind.

Broadening the remit. Brian Booth and Charlesworth both played Olympic hockey, Jonty Rhodes also made the Sprinbok squad for the 92 Olympics.

Brian McKechnie, the recipient of the underarm ball, was also an All-Black.

You could have Gil Langley instead of Zoehrer as keeper.

On the baseball front, I'd loved to have seen Mickey Mantle play cricket. He was a true natural at bat and ball sports.
