I actually am sick of hearing about women have less opportunities in the office.

I work in a team of 10 an I'm the only male.

They also asked the head of HR (for our international company) and COO when they were in the office last, about opportunities for women in senior roles. Both the head of HR and COO were women.

I think it's actually swung so far the other way at the moment. It just pisses me off hearing in our office that they don't get the same chances. They're getting bloody most of them.

Im literally joining a company ruled by women. Apparently the ratio is 90% female and it's a massive, global company.

My big issue with TFA was that while I liked it as a movie, it just didn't ring true as Star Wars for me. As much as we bag George Lucas, I still feel like he brought something to the saga that was different to what these guys are bringing. The prequels feel more Star Wars than TFA. That's not to say I didn't like TFA though, just tonally.

For me, it was the opposite. I thought TFA really felt like Star Wars for the first time in a long time. It wasnt a million green screens and lightsabres shoved down your throat.

It was real sets, real locations, real props. It felt real.

I loved it.

Oh and Im very much so looking forward to Rogue One but the newest trailer didnt do much for me. Well actually just one part. The shoehorning of Vader near the end, just sort of coming out of the smoke.

It's ****ing Vader make it cooler. Dont put him in the trailer at all.. then at the end of the trailer, fade to black, pause... then the Vader breathing comes in. One inhale, one exhale. End trailer. Then i'd be hard as ****.

I just think they havent been handling Vader too well since the news broke that he would be in it. Hopefully he is ****ing badass on screen to wash away how horrible he was in the final installment of the prequels where George Lucas almost destroyed the greatest villain of all time.

Ive also learned this week that Flight Center hold two balls a year, black tie, massive events. So ill be going to those things, free booze, i dont drink but the girls will and it will be a 9 to 1 ratio of female to male.

It will be like shooting fish in a barrel.
