Lovely stuff mate
I don’t know if you were there Boj but they played this montage before the speakers came on of the movers and shakers of our history in the EU since the 70’s. When Thatcher appeared on screen she got a huge cheer only beaten by Farage and Boris. Blair got the loudest jeer but the BBC and other snivelling pro European anti brits like Major and the journalist Cathy Newman ran him close. When Theresa May appeared people didn’t know whether to laugh or jeer. The whole of whitehall and the surrounding pubs were buzzing. Amazing night

Nerves of steel from Kenin.
Good on her! Always good to see a new Grand Slam champ.

Looking forward to tomorrow night.

Any uk government can no longer put any blame on Europe for its own failings. More accountability is always a good thing.

The simple fact is regarding Brexit, the main reason people voted for it was to control immigration. Problem is the U.K. (like all western governments) wants cheap foreign labour to help the economy so I expect they’ll just increase immigration from outside the EU to achieve this. So I look forward to having a shit load more Somalians roaming our streets at night. Boris and his government will be held accountable if that happens and as people won’t be going back to labour to solve this problem then I expect a new political party will emerge

Have lost track, but assume all trade deals sorted by now?

So the UK currently has how many trade deals? None? Wtf?
That’s why it’s such a big undertaking. But now we are free to make our own trade deals so I don’t see the problem with that. It’s like saying you won’t get divorced and you’ll stick in a relationship you don’t want just because it’s too much hassle to sort all the shit of the divorce out.

Nah it's like saying you don't want to live with your wife anymore then getting divorced before you line up a new place to live and finding yourself on the street lol. But good luck.

Never lived through a divorce but surely that's how many would play out. Except for those where one party submits to unhappiness for far too long or even worse eternity

1) It was an analogy not literal
2) You normally separate before a divorce and move out of the same house

In the analogy, Britain has filed for divorce while still living with the EU and has now legally separated but still hasn't lined up a new house to move into.

Theyve got 10 or 11 months to sort it out and couldn't start making deals until now. Plenty of time to get themselves sorted or even enter temp worse arrangements to start 2021. Better off with short term inconvenience and being better off long term, assuming the UK govt get it right from here on out.

The people voted for them to have that chance to. Assuming they don't do it well the govts heads will be on the chopping block come election time. I've got no skin in the game whatsoever and couldn't care less how it goes but I do respect their decision to try and make a change for the what they perceive is their own good
