Lol no ocd issues here. The most disturbing part of that photo is that the plates in the rack aren’t in a uniform order of largest to smallest

The other potential employer got back to me today. The team leader called me. We had a brief chat, explained what we both currently do, how they operate etc.
They asked for my salary expecations (have asked for approx 20k more than I am currently on), said I'll have a contract sent to me by Wednesday. As good as done.
Happy days.

The idea a government killed its own people is absurd for any rational person.
I don't really have a strong opinion on 9/11 but I really don't agree with this. If you've ever studied US history there are plenty of examples of the government doing some appalling things to their own people.

I have studied US history plenty mate. I'm talking about the complicit murder of its own citizens.
Fair enough, I'm not saying I think it happened here. I'm just disagreeing with the idea that governments are incapable of harming their own citizens.
Pol Pot, Syria, Idi Amin and Stalin are four from the last century alone. And I'm disagreeing with that. Please cite an example to back up a rather bizarre point.

I think we are referring to western governments with something resembling a full democracy, not dictatorships run by complete madmenPol Pot, Syria, Idi Amin and Stalin are four from the last century alone.
None of those are American. Please re read the question.Pol Pot, Syria, Idi Amin and Stalin are four from the last century alone.
So it never actually happened.I said the idea, not the action.
There's one famous example of just such an idea with Operation Northwoods. Now obviously this was just a plan that never came to fruition but it was something that was genuinely considered by a lot of very influential people. That's my point, that the idea isn't that far fetched. If you look back on my original post I've not once claimed that anything like this has happened. I just think that history shows us that it isn't insane to think that governments are capable of harming their own people.
Actively blowing up two scyscrapers is a little different to incompetently handling natural disasters.Well Churchill let India starve during the war and the US did nuclear testing in Nevada. The purges, nazi germany.
Could argue the US govt assisted the death toll of its own citizens after Katrina and currently are in Michigan.

This is what I assumed you were talking about. And I'm disagreeing with that. Please cite an example to back up a rather bizarre point.
