Yeah they have copped it on socials and rightly so. Clearly there are two sides to it but the cones, no car park and farm track was ridiculous as Charlie Archer explained. I finished watching Parks and Rec. That was so fantastic and at no point did I think the show dragged on or should have finished earlier than it did. Not even after two main characters left in Season 6. I thought the series finale was really well done with showing what everyone ended up doing decades into the future.

It ended up being a series so enjoyable that it took me until Season 6 before I remembered that Mark Brendanawicz was even a character and he left in Season 2.

The Americans have been operating in this way for at least the last 125 years and it is very extensively evidenced. The most decorated soldier in US military history wrote a book detailing how they did it and a US President warned against it in their farewell speech. The patterns are obvious. That's before you consider Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan, Yemen and Syria. Joining the dots with this war and previous is not difficult. The strategies are usually very similar.

It doesn't mean I believe it but when an extremely well credentialed and experienced investigative journalist writes something interesting I will try and read it. Out of interest, how has it been debunked? The Americans tried to cover up My Lai as well haha
