Smoothies definitely count as breakfast, particularly if they're loaded as epicly as I do (ie, 6-7 bananas, strawberries/blueberries, kale, spinach, celery etc).
What health benefit is having celery in there? Wouldn't imagine it'd do much for taste. It's one food I can't handle but I reckon it could hide in a smoothie pretty well

I can't stand celery to be honest, just can't stand the taste. Can't stand the taste of a few vegetables/fruits though which is I guess why being a vegan wouldn't work for me!

Apples and sultanas along with celery are the 3 things I just won't eat. Pears come close too

I'll happily eat most things except for cucumber and watermelon. Yes, I hate watermelon, come at me! I wouldn't have celery on it's on but I don't mind it if it's mixed in with soups like minestrone or if it's smothered in peanut butter.

Cannot understand people who don't eat breakfast. I have a bagel when I wake up, coffee when I get to work, some yoghurt with granola about 10:30 and I'm hungry again by 12! My stomach would start consuming itself if I didn't eat before lunch.

Things like celery and spinach etc or neutral really in a smoothie. Can barely tell they're in there aside from the colour the smoothie becomes.

Fruits and veggies are but a fraction of what I eat now, but during my second recovery from cancer it's all I had everyday.

It's about training your body though. My body now doesn't get very hungry for breakfast because I only eat between 1230 and 830 most days.

This. :thumbsu:

Is there a benefit to training your body to operate differently to how it naturally does?

****ing twat of a ref today, I deserved the yellow I copped but he got in my face continuously after that and when I got smashed into incredibly cynically didn't give the opposition player a yellow then had a crack at me when I got annoyed about it. Cynical fouls are always yellows you absolute twat.

I've found it's only since I started working that I get really hungry at lunch. When I'm home on the weekend I very rarely have lunch. Even today playing football, I had a late breakfast and I'm not even hungry yet, though I'll grab dinner before Hull tonight.

That's pretty much me.

I can normally get to about 11:30 without breakfast during the week. I often still have toast and coffee around 9ish when I get to work.

On weekends I generally just have dinner.

Yeah I'm the same. Generally eat breakfast on a weekend but if I stay home I can go without lunch.
