I think the ranking is your ranking for round 5 only, less the number of teams above you who don't qualify for eliminator.

So your eliminator rank should be about 15% better than than your actual round 5 rank.

Sounds about right.

Kinda sux though, given í'm ranked in the 900s overall but eliminator ranking is 29000 after my worst week for the year. Won't matter, but it's a strange system.

Let's see if we can work this out, can some people post their eliminator ranking, and their opponents eliminator ranking. Maybe we can figure out how the draw was decided.

which doesn't fit the 1 vs 65537 theory (where i would play 94862)
or the 1 vs 131072 (where i would play 101747)

It works out perfectly, if you were 7000 in round 5, and roughly 15% of the people ahead of you (15% of 7000 is 1050) are not qualified for eliminator, then that would bump you up to 5950, which is close to where you are ranked for eliminator.

I'd be more interested to know who you play.

yep this sounds about spot on. although my overall ranking is 600 odd i came 35,000 after a shocker last week. eliminator ranking is 30,000ish

I'm happy. First up win for me. He has 5 0's in his forwards (including emergencies), has 9 playing backs including the likes of Ryder, Glass, Caroll, Scarlett. Lots of full backs.
