Wth is scapular muscle imbalance....

From my mate who is doing his exercise physiology dr at the moment:

Scapular muscle imbalance means his conditioning is pretty average, and some meat head S&C coach never addressed deficitis. It is an imbalance of muscle strengths around his shoulder blade that would cause his shoulder mechanics to go to shit/cause nerve impingment. It can be a tedious piece of shit to get right if it is really out of whack. And for any athlete in an overhead sport, it should never have been left to get too far out of whack.

tl;dr conditioning coaches never assess for issues, and just do generic shit

Sounds like what I had last year. Basically it hangs around until you build up strength. I haven’t and my shoulder still feels a bit ****ed a year later.

I’m sure for an NBA player though he’ll fix it easy.
