Terry : Joel. who plucks your eyebrows? Im not to happy with the way Rene does mine.

Joel : A bloke over at Big Footy named OXX... He also dose a fantastic Brazilian for the players over at the Lexus Center

3)Decent Bloke- all he gives a **** about is his pay cheque and getting his ugly head in a picture to premote himself and his girly lil brothers cafe.

And how would you know that? Do you know him personally?

bowden wasnt in the backline, it was oplayers like king, mcguane and co that were too loose, like they didnt have an opponent.

LOL...yeah, he 'tagged' Cornes (I use the word 'tag' loosely), had almost the same amount of possessions, but did 10% of the same damage with them.

He's been given another taste in midfield and did worse than Jackson has. If he wanted to play midfield so desperately this year, he should have got fit for the first time in his entire career.

Problem with Joel is every single coach we've had has allowed him to take the easy way out. He should've been absolutely crucified in pre-season about 7 years ago and MADE to get the fitness necessary to be an elite onballer. Instead we were mearly satisfied with allowing him to become a cheap half back flank who isn't interested in doing the dirty things, doesn't run off his opponent hard enough and I'd like to know of the 30 odd possies every week he gets why only 3 of them would be considered truly damaging to the opposition despite his skills apparently being so good. The answer to all these is that nobody put the hard word on him when necessary. Whilst he is valuable in his position, he's not untouchable and if I could get something good I think it'd be better going forward. It's basically too late to try and change him though I wouldn't mind seeing him being thrown forward from time to time just to see if he can do something.

He'd be a cancer in the forward line too for the same reason - no pace, plus only very average decision making skills and execution (both mostly reliant on having all the time in the world). He's another half-fit Nick Daffy masquerading as a valuable senior player - without Daffy's flukey occasional brilliance.

Couldn't agree more on his off-field work ethic, the fact a coach should have got up him long ago about it, and the worthless nature of 90% of his possessions.

great comparison in bold.

the perfect way to describe joel is an imposter. He pretends to be something he is not.

1) A leader- Always ignoring younger players just so he can hold onto the pill longer
2) Good Kick- the amount of times he put team mates under presure is a joke
3)Decent Bloke- all he gives a **** about is his pay cheque and getting his ugly head in a picture to premote himself and his girly lil brothers cafe.

Your an absolute nob,
he got an award from the afl last year for the work he does with charity,
he puts in more time with kids and sick people then any other footballer there is,
so dont go saying he isnt a decent bloke.

Not to mention the fact he is held in such high regard by his peers he is the new head of the Players Assosiation. :thumbsu:

Gee OXX you are such a happy person to have around. Must be nice to just want to trash people all day. Squash any flower beds today or kick any cats:);)
Come up with a relevent arguement or p1ss off.

Fact is oxx is correct .....those committees are for people who have never really achieved anything of any substance and try and substitute thier short comings buy trying to be of importance elsewhere.

Not a fact at all. Re-read what you posted and evaluate it.

I don't wanna start a flame war but there is no 'relevent argument' in your post.

This is an incredible thread.
Not a lot of sense really.
Most teams have a player in the back half that sets up forward moves.
Unless I am mistaken ther is a bloke who plays for the Crows who does the same as Bowden and I can't remember ever seeing him pick up a man, the main difference is that he has spent his entire career doing it in a team that wins more than it loses
What is his name OOOOOHHHH thats right McCleod
I think he can play a bit.

Please, come join us in exposing and basting this former Jack Dyer medal thief, not forgetting his cowardly "one on one" efforts over the years but rather holding them in the same esteem as one does his self righteous gift unto us all - himslef.:thumbsd:
good call oxx but theres about another 12 players down at punt road that should join him elsewhere next year
