Seller has been brilliant this quarter, probably about 7 or 8 possessions, showing his excellent mobility and overall talent.Thunderstruck said:As for Sellar, one bad game doesn't mean everything is ruined for him. Look at the bigger picture, the guy is a serious talent and will be a very good AFL player. Period.

Houli is just bashing the South Australians here. I wish the commentators would pronounce his name correctly.![]()
Yep, a second rounder in this draft.CharlieG said:Is he the Jets boy that you were promising me would be a top ten pick months ago?
I read about him in The Age. Apparently as a practising Muslim he fasts during Ramadan - if so he won't be able to train or play for a month... you can't be an AFL footballer without eating during the day. Hopefully it won't be an obstacle to him being drafted... but I can see controversy coming from a long way off.
Played in defense. I thought he looked good. Moved smoothly and used the ball well even if he didn't get heaps of it.Dazman said:Can anyone tell me how Everitt is going? and where is he playing?

South Australia were rated because they had the lieks of gibbs and sellar, and willy bryce has delivered, james looks out of his depth out there. mat Kreuzer from the knights has been exceptional for the metro, and if he continues the way he's playing atm throughout the carnival, he will be the All Australian Ruck man.
Also patty veszpremi's quick hands under pressure has been a feature of his game, along with a booming, penetrating kick.
Not many positivesto be taken from S.A recruiting wise, other than the form of Gibbs.
If sellar continues his poor performance throughout the carnival (hypothetically), we could see a 'mitch clarke' effect where his stocks may decrease. Atm not looking top 5 material.

Despite being on the small side physically, he showed a lot with his field kicking, willingness to put his body on the line and spoiling.
Definitely has a future.
Wasn't impressed by Sellar one bit. Too small to be a quality ruckman and did nothing as a key position player. You wouldn't draft him just to pick up cheap possies on a wing. I'll be spewing if we draft him with our first pick.Effes said:Gibbs 34

Sellar 22
You'd be spewing to pick a 195cm, 17 year old, who is still growing into his body and one that collected 22 possessions?gandaal said:Wasn't impressed by Sellar one bit. Ahead of Gibbs, Gumbleton or Hansen? Hell yes! Why would you pick up a talented player who has to play KP because he's not tall enough to play in the ruck when you can pick up a talented player who actually plays KP?Drummond said:You'd be spewing to pick a 195cm, 17 year old, who is still growing into his body and one that collected 22 possessions?
