Damnit, after SA fly out blocks early and get within 15, a tiny lapse in concentration and margin is back out to 27.

Gibbs tearing it up this 1/4 I hear.

As for Sellar, one bad game doesn't mean everything is ruined for him. Look at the bigger picture, the guy is a serious talent and will be a very good AFL player. Period.

Seller has been brilliant this quarter, probably about 7 or 8 possessions, showing his excellent mobility and overall talent.

Gibbs is just a freak, 27 possessions and 8 clearances. Hurley is good, tough nut but his foot skills are occasionally average. Luke McLean has also been impressive, as well as Caolan Buckley.

Is he the Jets boy that you were promising me would be a top ten pick months ago?

I read about him in The Age. Apparently as a practising Muslim he fasts during Ramadan - if so he won't be able to train or play for a month... you can't be an AFL footballer without eating during the day. Hopefully it won't be an obstacle to him being drafted... but I can see controversy coming from a long way off.

Also patty veszpremi's quick hands under pressure has been a feature of his game, along with a booming, penetrating kick.

Not many positivesto be taken from S.A recruiting wise, other than the form of Gibbs.
If sellar continues his poor performance throughout the carnival (hypothetically), we could see a 'mitch clarke' effect where his stocks may decrease. Atm not looking top 5 material.

I was really impressed with Everitt. He battled hard in defense all day, roaming across CHB/FB.

Despite being on the small side physically, he showed a lot with his field kicking, willingness to put his body on the line and spoiling.

Definitely has a future.

Ahead of Gibbs, Gumbleton or Hansen? Hell yes! Why would you pick up a talented player who has to play KP because he's not tall enough to play in the ruck when you can pick up a talented player who actually plays KP?
