Aarons had an asking price that seemed overs for him. So if he had a release clause it must have been crazy high

We were into Jamal Lewis for LB backup role. Pretty sure he had no relegation clause because Norwich demanded 20m + for him.

Given how little Norwich spent when going up, I wouldn't be surprised if most of that money was locking players into reasonably priced deals which meant they could demand big bucks for them on relegation.

Smart move with them keeping most the players for what looks like a quick bounce back. They should all be more PL ready next time around too. Assuming they keep hold of everyone if they come straight back up

Didnt he get banned for tipping a mate about an impending transfer?
Well he told a mate that he had a new job. His mate placed bets on it. Whether Trippier encouraged him to is not the point. This is all about pure greed...by FA and FIFA. Why? Because they can have these types of bets banned as they’re absolutely ridiculous.

Sounds fairly straightforward ban regardless of the FA/FIFAs motivations.

I think expecting footballers not to discuss their life with anyone because betting companies deem everything imaginable is worth betting on, but expect footballers to wear shirts advertising betting companies is incredibly hypocritical.

Betting companies let you get on the ****ing weather today. Should meteorologists not chat to their friends about the forecast?

I dont get why people think he shouldnt be banned, he told all his mates about where he was going and didnt discourage them not to bet on it. That's insider trading.
And betting companies have never used insider information to set markets and take people's money based off that?

Reckon Sky Sports does it a fair bit with their fake news stories to get people to bet on transfers. Funny that.

I was making a joke about your duplicate posts, was there a glitch?
I saw that after, but didnt think my post went through so didnt bother deleting.

Which has been our plan also I believe.
