Wasn't meant as a bite. Check the two teams' run ins. City will cruise past.
If this is not an Elmer and ends up being prophetic I may just buy a Hull shirt and go random souths guy at the footy in it.

Please for all that is holy be right

Don’t see much difference in those run ins, think Arsenal have it pretty good there.

Arsenal have Newcastle away, Liverpool away, Man City away, Chelsea away.

City have Arsenal home, Chelsea home.

How do you not see much difference?

It says they have Chelsea at home.

The City game being away is a disadvantage obviously and I think it’s a slightly trickier run but I don’t think there’s much in it, they should expect to navigate it pretty well. Newcastle away is a tough one.

I don’t think Fulham, Brighton, Brentford and even Everton away are a walk in the park for City.

Arsenal just shave it in terms of difficulty with Liverpool and the City to Brighton run but they would be going into most of them as the favourite. City’s own run in is by no means simple. Arsenal, Fulham and Brighton will be tough tests, Chelsea is a wait and see approach to see how their form is leading up to it.

Arsenal could have collapsed after losing to Everton, drawing to Brenton and losing to City a few weeks ago but to their credit, they have won 7 in a row in the league.

Sorry you're right, that one's at home. I'd still say that means Arsenal have the tougher fixture by some way. If City beat them at their place, which I'd expect them to do, it means Arsenal don't have any scope to drop points.

Fulham are on the beach already, Brighton and Brentford are interesting ones but I'm not sure they'll put up a huge amount of resistance to City, and Arsenal play Brighton too.

They play Chelsea at home, should be comfortable. They will account for us this weekend. Newcastle I would back them to get a result. City is the only game they are not expected to win out of that lot.

You back them to get a result up at St James? Check out Newcastle's results there this season. Don't think they've lost a single game.

Think they'll get a point at least. If they get a point there and at City they most likely win it.

I think City beat them which means a point at Toon isn't necessarily enough.

Possibly. Arsenal are 8 points ahead though having played 1 more game. If Arsenal draw at Newcastle, lose at City and win the rest they finish on 93 points. City would need 10 straight wins to knock them off in that scenario (including beating Arsenal at home) as they have 10 games left on 64 points.

Either way it will be fascinating. The key is the Etihad game, Arsenal avoid defeat there and they are home for me. Then the Newcastle result wouldn't matter so much.

In saying this though, would you have thought we would be top at this point?

Would you have also thought City would have dropped points in the games they did?

Remember the discussion on here a few weeks ago that Arsenal supporters wouldn’t be upset if they don’t win the title, because they weren’t supposed to be in this position? 😂

I am going to say that 100% of Arsenal supporters would be devastated if they don’t win the title from this position.

No of course not, but they always flick the switch on the run home, and a 4-1 win against Liverpool is pretty ominous.

They'll pretend otherwise. Just like Moomba pretends that City don't breach FFP or SM pretends that he doesn't have arguments.

I wish we had centrehalves that could defend half as well as moomba defends oil money.

Would win the treble without conceding.

Ha ha, imagine if we never tried to buy Kane. The O, I and L keys on your keyboard would be in much better condition.

When have I tried to 'pretend' that? What a weird post.
