Is that new stand being bought in at all? The top of that stand will be in a different post code if not.

Yeah you've asked me this a few times now. For comparison it's going to be steeper than the Emirates or the Etihad so as you go up the stand, each tier will be closer to the pitch than the equivalent seats at those 2 stadiums. In terms of existing stands at other English stadiums, with a capacity of ~22,000 seats it's going to be the 3rd largest single stand in the country - and has been described as being more along the lines of the Alex Ferguson Stand at OT (~26,000) in terms of viewing angle and distance from the pitch for that top tier of seating.

Must just be my eyes but based on the development picture you posted, it looks way, way further back than the AF stand in the picture above.

May as well just watch on TV hyaha

Loving how close the EPL, Serie A and La Liga is this season.

German league is zzzzzzz.

Bundesliga is great - the race for UCL/UEL spots and good clubs surviving relegation is just as interesting as a title race, and on a game by game basis, I would rather watch a Bundesliga match v an EPL match (excluding Bayern games where the result is known)

Not meant to be a personal dig, but it is a fait d'accompli that Bayern will win.

Same thing with PSG in France.

I agree that the Bundesliga is better quality than EPL, but the end product is another Bayern title.

Bundesliga is a fun league, but to the general public, the race for the title does play a big part in it.

La Liga has Real and Barca. Sure, it's Real and Barca (Atletico was a nice twist), but at least there's some tension for the title.

Serie A is usually an extremely competitive race for the title. It has lost a bit of lusture thanks to Juve, but this season seems to have picked up again, even if the Milan teams haven't

Bundesliga... It's Bayern, and it would require a massive slip up from them combined with an excellent season from someone else to make it interesting. It's like F1, it doesn't matter how exciting the fight for the podium or points places are if the winner's certain. If the prime focus of the competition is virtually certain, then it doesn't quite work as a competition. It's not Bayern's fault that it managed itself fantastically well to be in the position it's in, it just means that without a proper fighting partner that is on equal terms, it's a little stale.

Scottish Football fell off the map ever since Rangers went down. At least this season looks to be a little better, but it doesn't quite have the same bite. France and PSG seems a bit boring too. In fact, with less Europe places, and the fact relegation is 2 places only, Liegue 1 doesn't really have that many interesting points either (it is also a traditionally defensive league.

The Germans love the league (and rightfully so), but without a proper title race, it's not as appealing as it should be to foreigners.

Ozil has the second most assists (93) after Messi (98) from 2008. And he only has five less. Incredibly impressive.

The guy is ridiculously good. And imagine if he had clinical strikers in front of him at Arsenal.

Speaks volumes about Messi really. The most assists since 2008. Oh and he bangs in like 60 a season. Freak.

So no credit to Ozil who is only five behind him? And for some of that period, has played in an inferior side.

Don't think he deliberately dismissed it, just commenting on the guy that tops it.

I wasnt talking about Ozil. I was directly commenting about Messi and what a freak he is. Ozil hasnt played in poor sides. Real and Arsenal, plenty of assists to be had, helps he is a bit of a genius.
