Think it's around 55k. One of the reasons behind the cheaper tickets (which start in two years time, not this year).
Ah ok so it's a step up for sure. Will still be behind United, Arsenal, Liverpool and maybe Newcastle for capacity? Not sure how much St James' holds. Oh and isnt Stamford Bridge getting a makeover?

Nice, seems like its just one match in Sydney though? Should get a good turnout, many fans across the country would probably fly over there.

I wonder how they will bring that bus over :D

Adam Johnson has officially been charged by police for three child sex offences with a person under 16 and one of sexual grooming. Set to appear in magistrates' Court on May 20.

Don't believe the Mackems have made an official club statement or whether he will be stood down pending the hearing - will be very interesting given they are right in the thick of the relegation battle.

We're are also playing in South America, USA and Japan so it's a pleasant surprise they are coming to Oz too.

What does the hospitality include?

Havent looked in detail, but parking, bar, I'm guessing priority for tickets. Not much really, and not worth the £800 price rise IMO. I don't drive to games so I can gave a drink. No time for a pint at half time and I usually go up to the 3rd level for a chat with a mate. And I've got enough loyalty points for tickets to most games anyway.

I know this has probably been done to death but out of curiosity who has seen their team play live?

I did the whole Europe trip in 2013 and I went to my first PL game (Chelsea vs Aston Villa) at Stamford Bridge and we got up 2-1. It was something else, especially compared to AFL. I ended up staying with a mate in Chalk Farm for a couple of months and we watched about the first 7 or 8 Chelsea home games of 2013/14.

We do cop a lot of shit for being a quiet/boring home crowd but from first hand experience, just getting off the tube with a sea of blue supporters and walking to the stadium is really something else, especially after a shit load of pints.

I couldn't imagine what it would be like going to a Man U Liverpool game at Anfield. It would be insane. A couple of mates saw the Liverpool match where Suarez tore Norwich to shreds and was banging them in from all over the field. Words could not describe...

Saw Bayern play some American team in Prague and that was pretty rubbish. Bayern won 9 - 1 or something ridiculous. Also saw an El Classico in Barcelona and it was pretty much 85% tourists. I don't think there will ever be a bigger fixture than Real Vs Barca but it was pretty underwhelming in comparison to the Premier League. There are so many dodgy people at those games as well. The only good thing is the €1 San Miguels as you're leaving, and the cheap cocaine lol...

Caught Argentina Vs Italy the day after we did the Vatican tour (Balotelli and Messi didn't play), but it was pretty cool seeing the pope kiss Messi in the flesh.

If anyone else has any stories from overseas I would love to hear them.

I saw Woy ' s last game away vs Blackburn in Jan 2011 before he got sacked. Plenty of LFC fans were joining in the "you're getting sacked in the morning" chant with the Blackburn fans :)

Blackburn went 3-0 up, we got it back to 3-2 and Gerrard did us a favour by missing a penalty with 5 minutes to go which would have levelled it at 3-3 and probably see Woy not get sacked!

Went to Arsenal vs QPR at the emirates in December, interesting game to be at with a missed pen from Sanchez, Giroud sent off for headbutting and still won 2-1!

Also went to Nice vs Lorient in Ligue 1 in Jan, sat in the front row behind the goals and even managed to get on french TV with a goal celebration huddle happening right in front of me (thats me in the blue jacket on the right of the huddle at 00:45) :D

I saw about 15 games last season, greatest trip of my life. :)

When we got promoted I thought it may be now or never to actually get to see Hull play at the top level, so made plans to head over. Got a season ticket to help with the home games, as the period I was going over for included home games against Liverpool, Chelsea, United, and Spurs. Also emailed the club for help with away tickets, as those included Arsenal and Liverpool.

Club got back to me after I managed to email the right guy and said they'd help out, got guaranteed tickets to Arsenal and Liverpool.

Got over there and the first game I watched was against Liverpool at the KC. Now, we had lost 1-0 to Palace the previous week, when Palace hadn't won a game all season, and we had never beaten Liverpool in a competitive match, so I didn't have high hopes. The walk to the KC was the most surreal feeling, because I was walking to my team's home ground in a city I had never been in before. People all around me were chatting about the team and it just felt crazy that there was this whole city of people who followed my team. Got to the game, settled into my seat, and before my eyes Hull beat Liverpool 3-1. It was absolutely nuts. If we had lost every game after that my trip still would have been brilliant.

Another massive highlight was watching Hull beating Fulham 6-0 after it had been 0-0 at half time. Huddlestone scoring to get his haircut was amazing and the crowd was just absolutely nuts. Having that sort of scoreline in one half from two sides in the lower echelons of the table is surely not going to be repeated any time soon.

Also got to our FA Cup game against Southend where Phil Brown is now manager. Crowd was chanting his name all game, making fun of the song he sang when we stayed up in 08/09, and he loved it , waved at us, etc. during the game. Fryatt scored a couple of fantastic goals and it was great having been to an FA Cup game on THAT run to the final.

Through a friend who knew the niece of one of our assistant coaches, I managed to meet said Assistant Coach who took me out on the pitch, into the rooms, met Jelavic, met Chester and Dudgeon, met Windass, got a shirt signed by the entire squad pre-Spurs match. Absolutely brilliant day. Marketing manager at the club went nuts when learning that I was from Australia and had a season ticket at my age, and offered me free away tickets for the rest of the season and said if I were to come back I'd get a free Season Ticket.

Also caught the United-Sunderland League Cup SF where Sunderland won after a terrible penalty shoot out, QPR-Blackburn's 0-0 draw in the Championship, and Everton's 2-1 win over Southampton at Goodison (ironically Ramirez scored for Southampton).

All in all a pretty fantastic trip. I wrote a blog about it that I have somewhere.
