I just cant do the A-League man, it's boring as batshit.

I once had your attitude then went to a few games. It's not too bad actually for what it is.

Obviously nowhere near EPL football but still very enjoyable to watch and a decent standard IMO.

That is the problem. People seem to be expecting it to be of a high standard when that is not going to be the case for a long time yet. If you watch it for what it is, go to the games, and just get into it then it's great.

A League is a great watch, perfect time for me too. Gives me a good excuse to avoid starting work.

Decent game this, with a lot riding on it for 6/7 teams.

Jod should watch City. Pacy, hardworking, skilful URGay-un striker that knows where the net is. Would be like going back in time.

So much this. I don't get the euro snob attitude. If you love the game I can't see why you wouldn't watch A League football.

Surprisingly good coverage in the UK too. Was pleasantly surprised when I was over there at Christmas.

Very good. Other than cups, every game on live.

If I was to have a team, it would be the Glory obviously.

But I find football can be boring if not at the highest quality.

Watching a bunch of average players run about passing it backwards and sideways and hoofing it into the box is not my idea of a good time.

Do you follow the Socceroos?

Must......resist.........temptation........must.......resist. ;)

i get what jod means though. there's no way im chucking on something like mariners vs anyone. i try and watch as many adelaide games as i can and the bigger ticket games like this one. it can be really difficult to adjust if your first exposure, like mine was, to the premier league.

Only at World Cups. I dont bother watching with the Asian Championships or whatever they call that or Friendlies. Unless the friendly is a big one like if we're playing England or Germany or something but that isnt all that often.

Cant do it mate... the quality is too poor plus I dont care about any team or any players.

The A-League has been good quality for a few seasons now. Cracking game tonight.

I don't really to be honest, if it's a good game it doesn't matter what league it's in. I watch my mates in their Sunday league game if I'm injured and I still enjoy watching it. I can watch Championship games and enjoy them, and I can watch World Cup Finals and enjoy them. Conversely I can be bored shitless by World Cup finals and really enjoy 23rd v 24th in League 2. The individual player skills can be different but the overall game can still be enjoyable. Plenty of A-League games are thrilling, especially those involving Melb City. Agree with Moomba on that, they're definitely the team to watch if you want a way in. Them or maybe Brisbane.

this seasons been great - championship quality teams are so even.
if you win the a league you know youve done it tough with salary cap and player restrictions
