I've seen the first six episodes so far and honestly, after about the fourth the novelty started to wear off. The characters don't progress, they don't do anything overly interesting and the dreariness of the language becomes tiresome. Plus, what is worse is that they start playing up to the cameras, all except Ozzie who doesn't seem to be in on the joke and I have the funny feeling he is being rather sadly exploited by his wife and kids.

No, it is not a bad show and has its amusing moments but goes nowhere. Fast.

The charachters dont progress? Cause maybe they are *real* people, not charchters, we would all have a million dollar self help god damn shows if we could change all our habits ect in 6 weeks.

I love it, and funnily enough my mum loves it too...
the feeding the tree bit was very good...
as the tattoo bit, *i have to tell her*, its awesome to see a loving family on tv, who are a bit eccentric, as opposed to all th hite trash fighting we get bombarded with on springer ect.
Next weeks seems like a good one, no ozzy not a brick!

of course nothing will top the first episode but last nites one still rocked. Don't know it word for word maybe someone here does but the bit where they were talkin about their sex life on the radio show and Ozzy says somethin about bein ready, Sharon falling asleep then feeling like he is sleeping with a 10 foot pole or somethin LOL

um bit worried about the way he kisses his daughter too (lucky b1tch ) on the lips with her sittin on his lap

That's what a grand mal seizure does to a person.

Contributes to the slow, hunched walking & the slow speech. Poor bugger.

He may be terrible, and a bad role model and evil or whatever else a lot of people would like to call him- but one thing that he is that 99.5% of celebrities aren't & that is, he's a REAL person. What you see is what you get & that is near on impossible to find.

He doesn't kiss anyones arse, he doesn't pretend he's someone that he's not & for THAT he is a true legend.

Sharon is the pants wearer & one shrewd business woman. They've had a fair few fights it must be said!

It's Sharon who's credited for saving his career-- and his life, for that matter, too.

Back in the mid-1980s, Ozzy's record label assigned her to do something of an intervention when he was deep into the booze and drugs, and as she was looking after his career and got him cleaned up bit by bit, they fell in love. Everything else after that, they are paying each other back for how that element of their relationship unfolded.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are beautiful people, although they may not look pretty at times. Their relationship and love for their families is genuine, and it's wonderful to see that documented, even with all the imperfections.

That's what I am getting from this show, not everyone is the same, just because you dress & act differently from the "status quo" you can still be a caring, loving partner & parent.

Hey, good call. How many times have people been judged for the way they look? Yet it's not unheard of for people who look outwardly respectable to be utter psychos behind closed doors.

Well I am going by my life, not many people agreed with my lifestyle or the way I brought my kids up, weren't as bad as the Osbournes, but weren't that much different, think I did pretty well, my kids are both very intelligent free thinking people, they have their problems, but at least they aren't on drugs, or in trouble with the law, plus we all still love each other.

At the end of the day, as long as the kids love their parent/s & vice versa, that is all that matters.
