A thread to discuss everything positive about the club or football as a whole.

We sure as hell need it.

1. Kennedy is the best tall forward in the game.
2. Sheed has shown that he will be a good midfielder for the club. Priddis should have been on a flank tonight, not him.
3. Duggan taking strides as a flanker, which is handy because we don't have any of those, hopefully it continues.
4. The recruitment of Willie and the rumours about Liam Ryan show that Simpson realises that we suck (and have for some time) at crumbing.
5. Petrie will be provide much better depth than Giles and his form has probably secured that. If he wants it, naturally.
6. The much needed list turnover is imminent.

Blind Freddy could tell you we're not that bad. It's a long season and we stumbled over a few hurdles. Finals is always a joy to watch if we make it, and next year holds a lot of promise for the evolution of our squad, hopefully with a fit Nic.

Carlton have some good players. They beat GWS this year. I and most others wanted Jarod Pickett and SPS . Carlton have a lot of high draft talent and are a decent side when they are on . So it is a positive to beat them. This is the most even year I have ever seen and any win is a good win.

The fans needs to brighten up at the games we are the most saltiest crowd I swear it's quiet when we arent doing well and shit on the players for mistakes.

This year I've noticed when ever the crowd lifts the players lift which general comes from a couple of quick goals, then when that quick burst of "stimulation" stops the crowd stops.

Lighten up.

Yeah fans, you should be "bursting" for 120 straight minutes!

It's never as good and it certainly is never as bad as you think, especially with West Coast. We can rebound as quickly as anyone.

Most of the positives are 2018 related but here goes -

- A heap of moaning about our lack of pace & explosiveness in the midfield this season BUT, we could potentially see Naitanui ~ Shuey ~ Yeo & Venables all line up in the centre square at some stage next season. That's pretty bloody exciting.

- Kennedy is the best forward in the comp

- Naitanui will return

- We're going to clear a heap of cap space with some senior players moving on, of which we're only reliant on 1 or 2

- Sheed since moving into the midfield would be averaging close to 25 disposals & a goal per game, while seemingly only being able to run out 3 quarters. Will be huge next season if gets an injury free summer under his belt

- Gaff won't be pushed into the contest to win his own ball as much, provided Naitanui does what we think he'll do on return. Meaning more time & space to get back to his 2015 All Australian best.

- With the team losing a lot of old heads, there is a chance a new captain could be voted in

- Barrass,Nelson,Duggan & Cole are some defenders to get excited about

- Venables & Rioli haven't even played a game yet and both have a heap of talent

- Sam Mitchell will move into a coaching role, perhaps in the midfield which could be huge for our younger players

- Moving to a new & improved stadium next season with new facilities on the way

Pretty easy to find positives.
