It's only strange if you have no concept of the history or the role of the EU compared to Westminster.
More the EU then Westminster. My interest in history is more ancient and classical, along with the 20th century, skipping the Middle Ages to 19th by and large. I find most of that boring (especially Australian history, I could go comatose with prolonged exposure).

No, i've never seen snow before.
You can be forgiven then :)

From a distance a fresh carpet of thick hail may look similar to a fresh carpet of snow, they are both usually white, but that is pretty much where the visual similarity ends.

What's with movie trailers these days I saw the one for the new Indepenence Day sequel last night & although it's not really my sort of film I felt I saw the crux of film in the trailer so I'll probably never bother with it even in the height of boredom.

Get back to 1 minute teaser trailers you numpties, fair dinkum it's like they condense the whole film in 3 minutes these days.

It did hail driving to Port Willunga, enough that visibility was down to a few meters in front of the car but Aldinga beach was blanketed in what looked like hail but looking it up it looks more like sleet.

The EU works for the benefit of all member nations, Westminster works for the benefit of the Tory elite.

Due to the onset of flu and a bout of insomnia, I was awake at 4am this morning browsing LargeHoofBall and wandered onto the General Discussion board.

Clicked in the "Do you stand up to wipe" thread. Tears of laughter for the next hour or so.

Fast forward to morning table having breakfast with Mrs. Bomber, "what were you laughing about in the middle of the night?"

It's even worse for comedies, literally the funniest moments in the film are in the trailer.

One of the funniest sledges I heard on a cricket field was when an oppo batsman was having a whinge to the umpire about how many short balls he was getting - our demon fast bowler tells him, "I bet you get out of the shower to piss!" Same bowler another time came thundering in to bowl and then came to a screeching halt in the delivery stride and points at the non-striker with a disgusted sneer on his face and says, "campaigner's got a fukcen ponytail!" To this day I still grin when I see blokes with ponytails :D

I find it really disappointing when I go too see a comedy based on the trailer only to realise that all the funny bits were in the trailer and overall it was a waste of two hours of my life. :(

if you're looking for any new sledges, you should read that thread. There's gold a plenty.

Should rename this The Walker calls bingo for crows fans, calls them all peanuts, then is accused of abusing old and frail people

Overall leave, but Wales and Scotland vote remain would be awesome too. The fallout will be terrific for independence.

Looks like Wales does not want to stay (at the moment) with only 5 more areas to count the leave are up by about 20% (660k to 550K)

I had no idea the General Discussion board even existed. There's so many superfluous sub forums on this site.

ps I stand and scrunch and had no idea there was any other way.

Holy ****ing shitsnacks it's cold outside, my weather station says it's 9.6° outside. o_O

God damn it you stupid brits, you are going to let me down with your stupid preference for bremain.
Leave 460k votes ahead according to the regularly updating BBC results. Go Leave! Both for the Melts and getting out of the EU in general is the right course. As long as they stick with NATO (a given) an overall plus IMO.

I'll be happy for England to have a majority LEAVE, but to be kept in by the other countries voting to stay.

See how those gooses like it :).

:D

I'm not a Brit, without really knowing why I find myself really invested in Remain. It seems an extremely risky thing to change on the basis of "ermagherd sterp the berts", and an important project for all of humanity, not that I could claim any real understanding of the pros and cons. You seem to be pro EU.

Are you strongly pro independence for Wales? I'd be interested to know whether that's a strong feeling amongst the Welsh and if it's likely to happen.
