There is a point to The 'Walker calls crows fan a peanut, accuses woman of bullying' thread?

Rowey has kids![]()
Having Rohan Connolly's beaming face at the top of this page everytime I refresh on my phone is rather unnerving.

Not really, I hope Clinton wins, but it's when you're forced to hope nepotism and incompetence (at best keeping national security information off secure servers) triumphs it's a shit situation. That meme you make

Did Schrodinger's dog eat Pavlov's cat?
Good on him for for coming on but yer rightZipping through the Connolly thread now. Best part so far is him calling someone 12.
edit: actually it's when he puts that norf supporter in his box.
As someone completely emotionally detatched from Fitzroy I still think it's sad that people had their club taken away from them. Perhaps things had/have to give when transitioning from a state comp to national.Good on him for for coming on but yer right
"I think probably the disappearance of Fitzroy. It didn't have to happen. And within a few years, Graeme Samuel, the driving force behind the push for mergers and relocations, basically admitted the strategy was wrong. Not only that, but the TV rights money went through the roof. Had the club been allowed to ride out the storm for not too much longer, they would still be here (as an AFL club) today. I reckon that's pretty sad."
What a boring VFL days of yore reponse
We wouldn't have come in either lelBecause the AFL needs more clubs in Melbourne?
Isn't he implying we still would have as part of the expansion, which has driven the increase in the value of media rights, just that there would be more teams in Melbourne? Either way it is, as you say, "good ol' VFL days of yore" stuff. We wouldn't have come in either lel
Lol Vics complaining one or two clubs go, as we are the sole non-Vic club able to join the national competition as it was just to bail their ineptitude out in the first place. I'm not going to rehash Norwood should be in the AFL as it is now, but seriously an AFL that had started as Port, Norwood, the two most successful WAFL clubs at the time, one Sydney, one QLD, one Tassie and the 'Big 4' plus Hawthorn (as they were the most successful around that period), for a 12 team AFL from the mid 80's would have been so much better. 22 rounds, everyone plays each other home and away. Long gone hope, but still just laugh at Vics whinging about their history disappearing.Because the AFL needs more clubs in Melbourne?
I just meant at the time we did, victorians have suffered the barest of losses in the national comp expansion and have kept at least 4 clubs that have no business in a national league in a perfect world.. No tears for fecking Fitzroy for mine.Isn't he implying we still would have as part of the expansion, which has driven the increase in the value of media rights, just that there would be more teams in Melbourne? Either way it is, as you say, "good ol' VFL days of yore" stuff.
