They are equally complicit. Platinic refers to it as financial doping and I agree with the sentiment.

Show me a club that hasn't spent someone elses money to get where they are now.

Cardiff borrowed money from the PFA not that long ago as they were on a transfer ban. They got a few players in and escaped relegation. Can't remember the other club at the time but they made do with the players they had because thats what they could afford.

Liverpool have already indicated they will spend 60million in the summer.

The aim is not to improve the squad but to buy players and keep them away from other teams. Man City's reserve team would probably qualify for the UEFA cup ffs.

I don't think thats the case. We've used 23 players this season, all clubs have squad limits. You just can't afford to buy a players you don't want just for the sake of keeping them away from another team.

Thanks for popping by moombs!

As usual we need a little luck this year and then Terry and Cech get injured...

I hope Schwarzer has the game of his life.

Had the game on in the background last night, thought that's bloody typical. Still, while there's hope ...

Ssssh, we're not talking about those. There are a couple of questionable ones, mainly around the sale of image rights and intellectual property to related companies. But there isn't enough detail in them to work out whether it's legit or not.

Honestly, the development is a long term thing. We'll benefit from it in years/decades to come. The money we spent doesn't count for FFP, but it wouldn't count for FFP if we hadn't of spent it either.

Moombs! #goodbloke

I now have more likes than posts huzzah
Hear that sound? That's me and twenty others going through all your old posts and unliking them.

Cardiff are a ****ing disgrace of a club and if they weren't my home town club I'd have disowned them years ago. Though what they have to do with Man City overspending I don't know.

Liverpool only escape sanction because they didn't qualify, their losses are just as bad.

Decent quick article there.

Players outside the 23 on man city's list would walk into the Cardiff team and a few would make the Everton team, that's the point.

Yeah, I'm aware that Liverpool would be likely to fail FFP if they were being assessed this season. Bit ridiculous to me that a rule that is supposed to be about fairness is applied to one team in a competition, but not another. You might not be aware that City are likely to fall below the FFP limits once all the available exemptions are allowed. Liverpool probably will too next season when their accounts finally get looked at.

The Cardiff example was just one example to show that financial doping as Platini calls it (I thought it was Wenger, must be a French thing) is part of the fabric of the game. It's been going on for over a century.

Which players?

Sinclair and Barry off the top of my head. I know they are on loan but the fact they are on loan to teams in the same league because they are top division standard but not required illustrates the point.

how the **** did vossy get his bloodnut shittruck face on fox footy bragging about premierships he should be banished from football
He ran and he ran and he ran and he ran.........i'm not sure when Vossy said this, but it was a brownlow night talking about someone. Thats all i remember about Vossy.
