In my personal experience after being consigned to a life of sugarless shit, well, mostly... mostly, the following are the best for taste:

1. Sugarfree Mother. It could be the taurine, gurana or pig foetus in it, but if you could buy the 500mL cans in cartons at a bottleo I'd be going there twice a week.

2. Sugarfree Kirks. It's a toss-up between their creaming soda and lemon squash flavours, but they're geniunely good. Taste sweet without that horrible 'diet' flavour and aftertaste.

3. If you have to have a cola option - and they're all horrible - Pepsi Max is superior to its direct competitor imo. It's still awful, but not as awful.

Sugar free kirks Creaming Soda is the only soft drink I drink.

It's the ****ing shit alright.

Does anyone remember clear coke or whatever it was called back in the late 80's? No sugar, no caffeine, no colour and pretty much no flavour. I worked with some people at the time who drank it to lose weight. I told them to drink soda water as it would pretty much taste the same and be a lot cheaper.

Successfully converted someone to the Pear who was generally a casual watcher of AFL, now comes to every game with me and is purchasing a membership for next year. I could tell because he started taunting my other Camries supporting friends for having a team that no-one would want to jump on the bandwagon for after they accused him of being a bandwagon hopper, lol.

Good mate coming back in a week, generally a casual North Melbourne supporter but doesn't really watch games. Going to convert him next and get a membership out of him. I've been carefully profiling my friends and finding the ones I know I can turn into supporters for life, got another mate who I intend on handing a PAFC scarf to the moment he jumps off the plane as well.
