There was a show in CheeseTV back in the day and the characters were named Blade, Saber and the sort. I thought that would be an awesome name, and then I grew up...

I'm calling my first born Night Shadow now

What if he/she is born during the day? Sun Shade?

There was a kid in my year ten class who was dead-set serious on changing his name to:

ACTION WHEELSPINS

Some of us thought he was a d!ckhead, others thought he was cool.

Firmly in the d!ckhead camp, I suggested he should add an exclamation mark to make it ACTION WHEELSPINS!

Looking back now, I can admit I was wrong. Oh so wrong. So very wrong.

ACTION WHEELSPINS is an awesome name, especially with the exclamation mark.

Though he definitely looked into it, I don't think he ever changed his name.

I'll take your word for it Portia as I missed out on that particular childhood experience.
Watched the first season, it's well made and cast, and I wanted to like it but it didn't quite cause any excitement for me personally.

Getting into Liam Neeson movies ... watched 'walk amongst the Tombstones' ... very good ... He plays a CIA agent coaxed out of retirement.

.. so thought I'd watch both Neeson's Taken movies ... Also I liked.

My ophthalmologist (eye doctor, for those who haven't just been to an eye doctor) was telling me about the medication he was prescribing and mentioned that I didn't have to worry about side effects but if I was a woman it could lead to vaginal thrush. It took all my powers of self control to not giggle - but I might have smirked. I don't know why.

Apparently saffron cures macular degeneration. Not sure how much you need to take, but one gram costs about the same as two beers at Adelaide Oval. Probably makes your wee rather yellow too.
