TF2 has been an outstanding time sink for me in the past, but nothing goes past CSS as the best online FPS ever. I spent my entire 12-15 year old life shut in playing surf, jailbreak and gungame. Mostly with the same communities and people. I feel that community feel in online games is somewhat lost.

Played Jailbreak on Garry's Mod as well as many other game modes.

Sunk so many hours into that game which first started as a simple impulse buy.

The community factor is something that is certainly lost now. I miss playing small time games with close knit communities. Now there is LULZ I PWNS U WITH MAH ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED ******

PS4 has sold more. Seems to have a bit more oomph as well. But, maybe base it on, do you have PSN and of so, do you play online with friends? What particular games do you like? Each console has exclusives (but many games are now on both).

On paper - and for the first 6 months - the PS4 was the machine to get; it's more powerful and third party games were performing better on it.
Since then, the gap has closed considerably - a lot of games actually perform better on the Xbox One (though usually at slightly lower resolution).

It really comes down to what your friends (if they are gamers) have, and what console exclusive franchises you prefer.

I must say to make them more affordable, both consoles are fairly underwhelming from a graphical perspective compared to the jump in previous generations.

In summary, get a PC.

Hence my earlier post about State of Decay being a great recent game to buck the trend. Anyone who can't recognise it as a good game, because the graphics are a bit last gen, are idiots playing games for the wrong reasons.
