Over. Rated. Comics are visually as well as mentally stimulating. Like when you look at your playboy collection in your tool shed
I guess thats one way to stop neighbours borrowing your tools

Carn, even Dave Mustaine knows Metallica is better.

Other way around

Really? Metallica's lowlights almost cancel out their highlights, but Megadeth haven't wrote anything as grand as Puppets, Orion, One, To Live is to Die...

I can agree that Rust in Peace is the pick of the bunch. Tornado of Souls.

The energy, performance, and execution is still there. You can see they still put everything in to it. Why not keep going? That's the equivalent of any casual footy fans looking at Port and saying Warren Tredrea should have retired after 2005 because he was no good.

I saw AC/DC at the Entertainment Centre on a free ticket back in the early 2000's. It was sad to watch. They just stood there, there was no energy. I was waiting for them to all fall over or something. Even in their heyday they were never known for scintillating live performances either. Their stage energy has always been pretty low. Angus was never even that great a guitar player, their signature sound coming far more form Malcom's rhythm guitar. And I'm a better drummer than Phil Rudd. Boy he has the easiest gig around. "Just sit there and keep a steady beat, Phil. Nothing fancy of you're out of the band".

Disagree. There's not a guitarist out there that can cover the ground the way Angus does while still managing to play that accurately to the records. Brian moved very well in 2010 and 2015, and they've always been considered a live band. There's also a great YouTube video that explains the intricacies of Phill Rudd's drumming. I used to agree with you once but once I seen that it opened my eyes to the art of his style and how much it adds to the feel.

The Hives opening for them, the singer had great energy and charisma, but the rest of the band stood so flat footed you'd think they were session musos. Compared to them, AC/DC were a circus.

As far as live bands go I get the feeling you're benchmarking AC/DC against a pretty small sample size of bands. And let's just say we are going to benchmark them only against bands who play similar sized venues I'd put forward that Midnight Oil would absolutely blow them off the stage at any stage of their existences.

Revisited And Justice For All a few weeks ago on the back of an article where someone from DEP raved about how underrated it is. It's a dark, angry, empty album which I loved when it came out but have a new respect for it now. Could of cut at least one song (FEOS) but the rest of it very mature considering they were relatively young and had just gone through a trauma.
