GTA IV killed the series for me. I can't think of a game where I hated every single character more. Nico was boring as ****.

GTA 3 was special, it broke some new ground. Vice city was a great follow up. I enjoyed san andreas but every one since hasn't interested me.

Likable characters have never really been a strong suit of Rock*. I liked Michael from V, Tommy, CJ, Ken from Vice City was funny, Nico was ok with his history in the Bosnian war... hmmm. That's about it off the top of my head.

The ending of mass effect 3 somehow managed to kill the entire series for me in terms of replayability. It was so incredibly depressing and unfulfilling that you just don't want to do it again. The last few hours of the game were so depressing and destructive for all you have worked for that it genuinely wasn't enjoyable.

"You a busta, CJ. Straight busta."
"**** you Ryder"

ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS FOLLOW THE DAMN TRAIN CJ

In parts, it is still replayable. The Krogan planet chapter in 3 might just be my favourite ever video gaming sequence and I often replay it in isolation, but entire game replays is like working for free. You don't get anything out of it, even if you have fun doing it.

I loved the turian planet. The scenery and environments in mass effect were top notch - aside from the endless barren planets you explore with the mako in ME1.

I'm actually very apprehensive about ME: Andromeda. I'm not sure on anything I've seen of it so far. I don't think they will get the story right and will jump the shark with the gameplay.

If any of you guys are borderlands 2 fans ....check out battleborn..

If you do get battleborn on xb1 or ps4 hit us up

Not neccesarily all rare, but Banjo Kazooie, Croc, Spyro, Donkey Kong, Golden Eye, Perfect Dark (**** that was amazing), Mario 64, endless games that have a place in your heart for their originality at the time. We have reached a point where it has all been done before and it just feels like reskinned rubbish.

Oh wait, thanks to EA - everything actually is reskinned rubbish.

Zelda (Ocarina and Majoras Mask) and Conkers BFD were the GOATs.

Pretty sure I played the remake of Conker at a mates place once, it's just not the same.

Real special games.

I flat out don't remember that? Didn't we only go to a moon of the Turian planet?

I liked IV, it stuck to one variety and did it well (Urban).

GTA V map felt hollow and plastic and uninteresting, despite all the easter eggs. It was so nothing. A plastic empty uninteractive city, a shitty desert area, and a boring ass forest, and there was no excuse for it given the technical advantages. Had nothing on the GTA III era or the highly maligned IV.

Oh man, could not agree more. GTA IV is one of my favorite games of all time but V missed the mark completely, it was all style over substance, a mile wide and an inch deep.

IV absolutely nailed the grimy aesthetic of New York, Liberty City was the real antagonist of the game, a breathing, living city.

the problem with IV is how repetitive the missions were

what could've made GTAV better is if it featured San Fierro/San Francisco and Las Venturas/Las Vegas, like GTA:San Andreas did

I'm hoping the next GTA comprises of San Andreas, Liberty and Vice City all in one game

Yeah, the missions did get a little repetitive but i just really liked the fine details in them, and how realistically they played out. The story saved the monotony for me.

Honestly, i want to see them move away from their flagship cities for once, they've depended on those for too long, time to create something new and as gripping as the first time you explored San Andreas back in the PS2 era, i dont know what that is though, maybe their own recreation of New Orleans or Chicago?

I dont understand how they ****ed that up so bad. The game itself was great up until the end....
You've come a long way and made some tough choices... now pick your favourite colour.

I liked Mass Effect 3 right up until the end [the Crucible was an ass pull though] it gave no real choice or idea of what happened after the game ended.
The Citadel DLC was fun though if silly.
